Given the realities of the club that have gone public, it is highly unlikely that top tier coaches like Klopp, Pep or Enrique would even entertain the idea. We can be hopeful and say "maybe Perez will change". But he won't. Someone like Pochettino or a similar stature/profile is more plausible.
I mean, what are the chances of Perez surviving and keeping his presidency after AppleBob86 posted all the twitter links and videos? FloPe is doomed.

Mourinho is stubborn and hasn't adapted to modern players .. it will much worse than before. he will be kicked out before he even sets anything in motion. (he always burn bridges in bad way) his aura, tactics, style of play (too defensive for Madrid ) are out of date.. he will also complain about the players he wants , which he wont get. imo current game of football has changed, finding good quality coaches is harder. Saudi Arabia money, why would any good coach take Madrid seat. only good club coaches I can think of are Vincent company, Inzaghi( former inter coach), Luis Enrique, pep. Hans flick. 3 out of 5 have barcelona ties , which lives 2 coaches. who seem to be happy where they are
There is a high probability that Mourinho will be considered not because of his tactics but because of the fanbase. The pitchforks are out for Floro now. The fanbase have turned on the squad, and will want a coach that puts the players in their place even if he burns the place down in the process. That is the vibe now. Wait until this weekend when they boo the players and the President. Mourinho is also not in a place to make demands, which I am sure Floro likes. I can't remember the last coach that was hired that actually looked like he got a transfer of his choosing. This is a problem in general but for Floro it is business as usual. I think the fanbase is completely annoyed with the squad construction and they will put that on the executive.
Jose might be thinking he could pull a Carlo and resurrect his career here. At this point, the job is a poison chalice and any manager that is established would think twice.

Klopp is never coming because he will want complete control. All you have to see is his comments following Xabi getting fired.
People need to be reminded it didn't matter if Xabi was the guy or not. Never mind we had the best start in something like 70 years, the problem is the undermining of authority. Without authority you get an absolute zoo. When your institution becomes a zoo it shows that anyone that's worth their salt will not come to work for you. Why would someone become manager of Madrid when you're caught between a rock and a hard place with zero authority or power to make any meaningful changes? The point of why Xabi shouldn't have been fired is that it is yet another move that damages the institution.
I will still love and will forever love Jose but I'd be absolutely shocked if he was able to have one last hurrah here. Maybe it would be possible, but not with these players. It's like having five Pogbas in the squad.
I don’t disagree. I’m just speculating that given the small pool of candidates, Jose would be willing to come back. If anything, it would make watching more interesting. Right now, watching the team feel more like observing the roadkill slowly decomposing on the side of the road that I pass by daily on my run.
Jose lost last 2 games to Braga at home and Porto away. Benfica are 10 points behind Porto. He dropped his level to Turkish and Portuguese league yet can't win league titles with big teams there.
I have said the same here, but Klopp was not quite as dismissive in his comments as he could have been, e.g. "I have no interest in managing, no interest in Madrid, impossible for any manager to succeed under those conditions." It was more like "Madrid understandably have very high expectations" and that the situation was not possible for a manager like Xabi, specifically.
imo madrid îs not place for young upcoming coaches.. someone should come to Madrid after experiencing winning trophies with two elite teams (top 3 leagues in Europe domestic wins with UCL title) to be considered candidacy for Madrid job Zidane was an anomaly
Klopp wanted to sign Mbappe, Jude, Tchouaméni at Pool and TAA is his guy. Still don't think he'd be particularly excited about the job. Whereas Mou joining RM in 2010 had an inevitable feeling.
We give up so many chances that I’d honestly just go 4-4-2 at this stage. Use Fede as RM and Cama as left mid. Put Jude and Tchou as a sort of pivot with Jude slightly higher because unlike Cama he can progress through the middle. Other teams play down our wings behind the wide forwards and it gives us all kinds of problems. Stack the midfield until we can figure out something better.
I would try Huijsen in a "Busquets role" in front of the defence. I think that will be his natural position eventually. That will help with the circulation of the ball.
