I don't say it in jest when I say he's going senile. The guy is losing it mentally, or at least got to that stage in life where you genuinely don't give a fcuk about anything. Referees are bad against many clubs, but I'm nearly certain if you measured this in any objective way, there isn't any blatant bias towards Real Madrid. We need to focus on our own problem. But if we're to call out La Liga, if anything we should be working with them and pushing for change that better benefits the entire league. Just screaming and shouting all the time doesn't do anything.
How does 180 millions euros sound? Is that enough support? When the fuk are you going to start questioning the manager?
After all that's happened around the world this weekend, the statement "the time around the holidays is to think about what truly matters and what matters to us is the refereeing in Spain", such an absurd statement it has to be really high up there.
I would counter this and say when Perez has personally come out and talked negatively about refs (which he wasn’t wrong on), we have had consecutive weeks of highly dubious calls against us. It happened in 2021 or 2022 when we lost the title with some outrageous calls weeks after Perez’s comments. And it happened last season in February for 3 consecutive games. We’re in a league where Barcelona paid refs. But the reason why Perez should STFU is because he’s just potentially sabotaged our season by not backing the coach, and did the same in Jan when he didn’t give Carlo reinforcements even though we could obviously afford them. Let’s start by not ********ing ourselves first.
Jacobo seems to have settled in quite well at Como. I’m watching him v Roma and is doing well. But Serie A is really disappointing for skill and level of play. No wonder Modric looks reborn at Milan.
Perez won't provide positive words for Alonso, at least not now. In the near future, Alonso's future is still not certain, so Perez can't being seen "associating" himself with Alonso. In the long run, if the year ends bad and they fire Alonso, again, nobody can connect Perez to some support of Alonso during the year (of course without bringing up the point that it is Perez who hired Alonso in the first place). It's all political now for Perez. He needs a scapegoat.
Do you guys realise Barca paid about 7 million euros to Enriquez Negreira, vice president of the referees of La Liga? And you are perplexed by Florentino's comments and moaning about it? WOW
He hit the nail in the head by commenting that the coaches involved claimed they never read such reports. So, if the reports never reached the coaches and the squad? Why have them? The most expensive reports in the sports' history and they never reach the coach? Odd.
Enzo Alves makes the leap to Castilla Marcelo's son, at 16 years old, has been included in a Castilla squad list for the first time. He's been called up for tomorrow's match against City in the Premier League International Cup. https://as.com/futbol/mas_futbol/enzo-alves-da-el-salto-al-castilla-f202512-n/
This kid is just rocketting up the ranks. I can't recall the last 16 year old that played at Castilla. Edit: Raul Asencio
He was saying how we "need to stick together and work towards a common goal" back when the entire thing came into the forefront because Barcelona were the only club holding his hand for the Superleague project. After they abandoned him he suddenly found it in himself to say what others said 3 years ago. Give me a break. The guy has us looking like total lunatics. Went from supporting them to suddenly discovering about this years later once he found out he maneuvered our club into a corner institutionally. This is why other clubs vote us out of every single committee. We can't be trusted.
Our CDR opponent on Wednesday, Talavera, play in the same group of Castilla in 3rd division. Castilla are 4 points ahead of them in the league table.
Yeah, whenever I see reports on Enzo Alves, he's head and shoulders above anyone else on the team at their age. He's maturing about 2 years ahead of time, so no surprise he's making the jump to Castilla
Totally agree. What are we supposed to do as a club? Swallow and move forward as if nothing happened?
Cooperate with the other clubs, not try to submarine this into taking control. When a committee gets voted, and the only Club that receives less votes than Madrid is Barca, you understand that people simply don't trust us. Sevilla instantly canceled every meeting with Laporta as soon as the allegations came out, Madrid kept going to dinners and doing the common copresidenship thing with them for years, until they abandoned Florentino's Superleague of course. Florentino doesn't want better or different officiating. He wants to control it and personally hire who makes the decisions. What a joke.
Honestly, the man is trying to sell the club. I'm being very careful with the amount of grace I'd give him right now. Florentino can do a lot to damage his own legacy here.
Sounds like a circus with Florentino directly involved. https://www.marca.com/futbol/real-m...de-entrar-valdebebas-mi-seguridad-fisica.html
Is it me or did we have things a lot tighter not long ago and lately we seem a bit in disarray organization wise?
It's shocking to me considering that Carvajal finally managed to have healthy seasons and our response was "don't trust that lady", really absurd.
