I dunno, it's El Chiringuito though. Even without Xabi, how much time is going to get ahead of Mbappe and Gonzalo vs being a starter at Lyon?
He might still end up going - just feels like they want to delay this decision until they ask the next person. Can't see the new coach playing Gonzalo over Endrick unless that person has ties to Castilla.
I don't think Xabi told JAS or whoever before signing "hey btw, I'm not gonna play Bobby". My guess it's his attitude or something in training. Either way, Endrick shot himself in the foot when he insisted he go straight to the first team thinking he was too good for Castilla. Whoever the coach is, it's best for him to get a starting spot somewhere else, the dude has 9 games in Europe.

The other spin on this is Xabi doesn’t trust GG and Endrick will get his shot, maybe something changed. We’ll see.
This squad is made out of glass. It's been years of the whole defence being injured plus Camavinga. A serious overhaul is needed because the bench isn't good enough and the squad as a whole are hospital dwellers.
I don’t even mean to play him every game, from the start. More of a leader in the dressing room and behind the scenes to slap these pretentious twats into place.
With Mbappe likely to miss tomorrow, Xabi tried Vini + Rodrygo up front with Ceballos in midfield and Fede at RB. I swear Xabi makes it hard to defend him..
One of the revelations of Guardiola in Munich was that he always complained about players being out too long, literally telling the doctors to just shoot players up with pain killers and get them on the field right away, saying "in Barcelona we had them on the field 2 weeks later, here you take 1,5 months for the same injury". I think all clubs in Spain process injuries this way. You're never letting anything properly heal, and you're just stacking everything.
That's something I'll give him credit for; he's a level-headed leader type. The last of the old guard. But not sure how much he cares about a leadership role given his diminished role within the squad and the fact that he's leaving at the end of the season. He never was a key pillar in the squad like Kroos, Modric, etc.
Endrick has to be a joke. If Mbappe is not available, there is no reason to not recreate the 2024 lineup: The attack should be 1:1 this.
When the current coach has the same troubles with line up and subs that CA jad, maybe we need to direct some of the frustration with the board. Alaba, Dani and Mendy all taking up space on the roster while our lb plays CB and our captain plays RB.

I love Guti, he's one of my top 5 favourite Real Madrid players. But he's smoking some strong shit here
