Varane's interview looking back on his career. https://as.com/futbol/primera/varan...-de-entrenar-de-correr-de-cuidarme-f202511-n/
Kudos to Varane for playing at elite level by delicately managing a complicated knee injury from 2013 onwards. He also talked about concussion he picked up vs Getafe in 2020 and playing through it vs Man City unaware despite huge symptoms as there were no mandatory tests those days after head collussion. __________________________________
Honestly he sounds like he checked out at some point. You can't compete if you are this hyperaware about certain things.
When I went, could get hot food, crisps (chips for the european/s.american/n.american/ folk and non-alcoholic beer. I asked about the beer, apparently it's a La Liga thing to sell non-alcoholic drinks in stadiums.
I am on a Facebook group which shows food at served at different stadiums. I find them very funny at times. The best food seems to get served at the lower / non-leagues and in large portions which seems crazy given the little money most have
I've had some insane stadium food in Germany, but had to put down 30 bucks for it without drinks. Came out with a pizza bigger than my seat though, so overall i guess its good value.
Been to an Oldham vs Rochdale game before and the Pie & Peas served were something else and a drink for less than £10
I'm reminded of this. Hockey fans aren’t happy after a woman was charged almost $10 (including a 12% tax CAD) for just 15 fries at a Vancouver Canucks game pic.twitter.com/RRHjIJwBMw— Dexerto (@Dexerto) March 18, 2024
I don’t think this guy can continue playing professional football. He didn’t play in Austria’s last two matches, so what ‘macular overload’ are we even talking about? From training sessions with the team or the NT?
Surprise MFs..Alaba is injured and is a doubt for the game vs Elche 2 weeks from now sponsored reports will come up in Diario AS saying he's fully fit and wants a new contract.
Thank God his contract ends this summer; he's been shafting the club hard for the past 2 seasons. I still can't believe he makes more than both Jude and Vini Jr. He even makes more than Fede and Arda combined!
