Yea, they don't even make any sense. Says RM knew he had serious issues last summer itself . He wouldn't be renewed if that was the case. Relevo are making it up now else they would have reported this at the end of last season.
Xabi Alonso is annoyed by the style of negotiations and did not want to join the club for the Club World Cup, requesting to take a break from Leverkusen first, threatened to not join the club: https://www.ran.de/sports/fussball/...so-beinahe-real-madrid-abgesagt-haette-535657 Ran insist on their information saying the've confirmed them with their own sources.
I remember a week ago they were reporting him not wanting to join for the CWC, that he wanted start after the tourney when the players were fresh. Then the narrative became him starting for the CWC, and how he wants this and that player to play in the tourney.
I find it pathetic that it had to be the coaches that anounced this, apparently by their own accord due to being sick and tired by how the situation was handled over the media. What's going on behind the scenes? Why did everything that went right since Florentino returned suddenly revert to it's old ways?

It's also the worst defense we've had on paper since the pre Ramon Calderon era. That even if everybody is healthy.
They're allowing this stupid tournament to dictate everything from the looks of it. Not everybody shares the obsession they have with the CWC. I'm sure the players don't, they probably want a break after a disappointing rough season.
Who is expected to recover in time for the CWC? I think Camavinga will miss it, but what about Carvajal, Militao, and Rudiger?
Honestly, they should take the B team in defiance. FIFA just invented a full-fledged 32 team World Cup a year before the international World Cup. The WC in 2026 is going to feature 48 teams [hence more games]. They're going to turn these players' joints into dust just to fill their pockets at their expense.
And we've probably played more matches with all super cups, new CL format and reaching Copa del Rey final.
Xabi Alonso received a gift from the journalists today after his last press conference with Bayer Leverkusen. 🤍 pic.twitter.com/p3gV2dRBgd— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) May 16, 2025
A 4 week tournament that offers a higher reward than winning the champions league? Of course it will dictate our summer. There are huge economic factors at play for the club. We’ve been generating very small profits year over year since Covid, no wonder why we’re not recruiting as before. Cash is tight and the debt ratio is super high to the level where the banks are not offering as many loans to splurge on players. The players will get their fair share in bonuses if they win it. They will be focused. Winning this tournament is immensely important. The club is not going full speed to recruit players just for the pretty eyes of Alonso, we are getting on them to make the team good enough to win it or go as far as they can.
Even if it wasn't from a questionable source, at this point it is pretty obvious he has some injury issues that won't go away
🔙 Xabi Alonso: “As a coach, you have to be at the service of the players, who are the real protagonists. You have to give them platforms so they feel prepared. You also don’t tell them everything they have to do & cut their individuality. You have to give them the right… pic.twitter.com/JCK58HxVTv— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) May 18, 2025
