Next three games are At home vs Mallorca (still playing for Europe) Away vs Sevilla (fighting off relegation) At home vs Real Sociedad (potentially still playing for Europe at that moment) Three games the team will need to show up for.
Just play the Castilla. These games will most likely be meaningless anyways. Save the senior players for next season. I wish the Bernabeu has a white hanky moment to show the board we are not pleased with their lack urgency. But I doubt that will happen since a lot of attendees are tourists nowadays.
‼️ Real Madrid academy player Víctor Muñoz has disabled IG comments after receiving many hate from Real Madrid fans, as Muñoz missed a huge chance in the final minutes of El Clásico:- "Stop playing."- "You've already played a lot here, join Valladolid or Leganés!"- "You… pic.twitter.com/Ecnyc7OBvC— The Touchline | Football Coverage (@TouchlineX) May 11, 2025
One of the things I've seen reported today was the Toni had a leadership role in the locker room that has not been filled yet, apparently he was one of the players that held others accountable and told them to shut up when they talked too much.
Between these two, I wouldn’t know who is worse. Maybe still Valverde at CB 🚨 Jacobo Ramon or Jesus Vallejo will START on Wednesday vs Mallorca. @diarioas pic.twitter.com/tMAH3Jf4z7— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) May 12, 2025
The campaign against the players seems concentrated and intentional. Both major Madrid daily newspapers running negative press against the players and the coach.
One player who has been a big disappointment since the turn of the year is Bellingham. However, I'll personally give him a pass considering he's asked to play multiple positions and carrying an injury he needs surgery on with little to no rest from the Euros.
He chose to do so though. I don't give people a pass for being stupid. Whenever some high profile player goes outside the testing network for "therapy" and they come back stronger than a dinosaur, remember that. If we're honest, Bellingham being self managed comes with its downfalls, this is one of them. An experienced agent/manager would have him out of the field immediately.
He looks gassed more than the shoulder itself. We're asking way too much of him and Fede in the midfield.
I'd like to think he's a smart man and wouldn't have taken the job if he didn't believe he could take us to the next level
Before the injuries completely wrecked him mentally, the few runouts he got at other teams and us a few years ago he actually looked quite good. An absolute shame. On the topic of Bellingham, he's honestly not been at his heights for about a year. I fear with modern football demands and this CWC this summer this generation of players will completely burn out and fade away. Even as a fan, I have no interest in watching this CWC. I miss the days of the two summer months where there was no football and the we could properly build hype for the season. I never have to miss football because the season now never ends. I can't imagine what it's like for a player and coach now where there's no rest and no time to actually prepare a team physically and strategically.
Its honestly insane. The CWC is as long as the World Cup. The guys have to go to international break a few days after the season ends, then back to be with the team for almost a month (if we make it to the semis), and then the season starts early to mid-August. What type of break will they be getting?
He played the day before away with Castilla. It's quite probable that Carlo doesn't even know the guy. He just put him on for vibes.
Vini got injured and Rodrygo didn’t want to play. The kid was the only one available in that position. He missed a good chance but all our players missed chances and have been missing chances all season. There is no reason in the world to blame the kid. Just misplaced anger from frustrated fans.
