He should have taken note of the career paths of Carvajal, Casemiro and Valverde if his goal is to succeed at Real Madrid.

Kid needs a loan, but I doubt he is willing to slum it with a club like Real Socidad or the like. Sir Bobby has gotten accustomed to the finer things in football.

I mean maybe he likes living in Madrid

    or his wife does

Or maybe he thinks he is one injury away from proving his worth

That’s totally fair and within his right. He can’t complain and wonder why his football career stalled however and blame Xabi/RM when eventually that does happen.

It should be easier to pick a loan destination come January because it will be obvious which clubs are lacking a striker. Odds are some mid club is bound to lose a striker to injury.

He should have moved in the summer. I felt he needed to work on certain aspects of his game and Madrid does not give you much rope.

Before Morata went to Como, I thought that would not be a bad landing spot.

We enter the Copa del Rey in mid December in a single game elimination match in the round of 32 (along with the rest of the Supercup teams).

We don't have as many cab driver/school teacher opponents to feast upon any more.

Only issue with a loan is; any team that is willing to take Endrick and have him start is probably going to be a team not doing too well and for a striker, that can be extremely challenging regardless of who you are.

Madrid only do proper loans with players who don't have a future in the club. Anybody that they still like but just don't have the space for is usually sold with a buyback clause. Which makes sense, the buying team actually paying a legitimate amount of money for the player and having them as "their" player gives them reason to try and develop them.

So if Endrick is well and truly "loaned", then odds are high his Madrid career will be over at that moment.

The sell and buyback makes sense for everybody involved because it games the financial fairplay rules. Doesn't have to do with the player, it's become a standard when clubs want to trick the system a bit.

Brahim leaves for the Africa Cup of Nations in Mid December.

I suspect Endrick could get some minutes on the right when that happens. Xabi had him taking some reps in that position during practices a while back.

Brahim has only been playing Mario Kart himself. In the recent articles about players being unhappy with the way things worked out, Brahim is one of the players mentioned at the very top.

... or it's an international break, they're trying to create buzz to keep clicks and the media fans the flames of the fans impatience because they know it's will help them generate those clicks/views (which generates their revenue).

The guy needs to GO. At this point it's HE who should be pushing for a move but he seems contempt to just sit and look sad.

One man's "content to sit and do nothing" is another man's "staying to fight to earn a spot, having belief in yourself and confidence in your ability to make it, even against tough competitors".

I think most of us have at least once in our lives taken a decision to back ourselves and jump into something knowing it'll be very hard but we can do it, sometimes it still doesn't work out though. I definitely don't hold his decision to fight and earn a spot against him (not saying 4x4s is doing that).

Guler has done the same thing. Let's see how it all works out for both of them.

The difference is how many opportunities there are.

With Endrick, there is essentially one striker position, and that is owned by Mbappe. When he’s not playing it’s Vinny. Then there is Gonzalo. He’s currently #4 on the depth chart.

He needs some injuries to occur to get any sniff at minutes, despite how hard he wants to compete and fight.

Sometimes getting out of the comfort zone is good. Not having the latest BMW, finest tailored LV suits all given to you, a private suite at the training ground, Emirates airplane experience for travel, ect ect…

He needs to be hungry, and by the looks of it, he’s been at the training cafeteria more than the pitch as of late.

Guler would have considered opportunities elsewhere if the new coach didn't give him a near guaranteed starting spot.

Nothing will change for Endrick if he stays and imo if the Marseille opportunity is real and he doesn't take it, it's on him.

I still maintain that he should have started at Castilla like Vini, Rodrygo and Fede but bro thought he was the chunky reincarnation of Pele.

Just not sure what Endrick's end game is here. Mbappé's only 26 (27 in December). Barring something catastrophic, he's not going anywhere anytime soon. He's going to be playing as #9, he's going to be the talisman, Mbappé right now is at worst the 2nd-best goal scorer on the planet.

Unless Endrick can play wing better than I think he can, there's no path to anything beyond reserve minutes here at any point for years to come.

You feel bad for him. When he agreed to terms with Madrid, Mbappé wasn't here. That deal didn't become binding until summer 2024 by which time we did have Mbappé but he very likely didn't want to back on his word, especially after all that time. And to be fair to him he did show what he was capable of in some of the Copa games last season, and how much power he can pack in his shot. Being injured for the first 15 or so games under Xabi's stewardship did him no favors obviously. I just don't see the future this guy has here as things currently stand.

Not everyone can have Vini's fortune where he comes to the club just after his preferred position saw it's starter leave, AND have a manager (after Lope's disaster stint) who gives him plenty of playing time right from the jump.

The media and people are dumb bro.

The same ones who will slaughter one for not staying and fighting for his place, while condemning those who go out as being completely outside the club with no future.. will turn around bash the other for not leaving and betting on themselves.

    It's nonsensical and purely subjective.

What makes it worse is all of this discussion.. high probability it's fake and made up for clicks but people make it truth and will use this bullshit in the future for whatever agenda that confirms their bias

Endrick showed a lot of promise when he was given chances to play last season. I don't want to see him loaned, but it seems possible. I still believe he has what it takes to make it here.

Endrick has played the equivalent of <10 matches outside of Brazil; he is very much "raw" at this point. Unfortunately, being eager and believing in himself won't get him minutes seeing how our front line is set up with 4 players all ahead of him.

The kid needs to get regular playing time right now and that won't happen at RM. Starting at Marseille or Sociedad every week for a half season is far better for his prospects than looking sad on the RM bench waiting for Mbappe and Gonzalo (and even Rodrygo) to get injured.

He made a mistake by demanding an immediate 1st team spot and skipping Castilla when he negotiated with RM. I hope he doesn't make a bigger mistake by refusing loan deals.

As we've seen with Chema and Paz, a few good performances outside of RM can really lift a player's stocks exponentially with the club.

Endrick is hesitant to move because he's trying to settle in Madrid, at least that is the latest. He recently married and used the offseason to take his honeymoon trip, during which he apparently did his recovery program, but still, priorities. If you read what is being said about his situation, he's simply not comfortable with moving.

He's living the lifestyle of a 34 year old player in the situation of a teenager where you have to be completely flexible and live out of a suitcase.
