Tasting some of his own medicine. Endrick was acting quite violently during his final games in Brazil.
As long as you do what is expected of you on the pitch, Im fine with how you look and whatever you do off the pitch. The problem is only goat level talents like Ronaldo can pull that off, and Endrick is far from that. There are levels to being "in shape" as well, you don't need to be ripped with 0.1 percent body fat to be in shape, but for stocky guys like Endrick its really easy to put on weight despite everything. If he does what every other player does, he will get fat, so he needs to be even more careful about his diet.
How did you see Endrick? Carlo: He is very young, very powerful, very fast. I am not going to ask much of him because we have to keep in mind that this is an exciting time for him. Tomorrow he will play 45 minutes. We are delighted to have him with us.
Ofc not I eat fruit every day. Other than avoiding some carb-heavy dried stuff like dates I'll have melons, apples, bananas on a daily basis. But no sweets, no products containing sugar, no indulgence of any kind whatsoever (not even honey). The only thing that tastes "sugary" in my diet is my sugar free chocolate whey protein.
That's totally fine ofc. The reason I go all out with this rule is because I wanted to max optimize my diet, and once I started doing that I realized how little effort it took on my part so I said I might as well go full ham with it. I was never really that much into sugary stuff. Alcohol and cigarettes were much harder to give up and it took me a couple of tries.
Same here. No alcohol. No chocolate, no ice cream, no sweets other than a piece of cake on birthdays. I am around super featherweight competitively though, so the diet is absolutely locked in for years now. Three times fruit a day (morning, lunch at work, dinner, so basically fruit after every meal). The women in my life hate that more than i do because they like to indulge and dont like when i dont because they like you to tag along for emotional support.
Yeah women hate when you are strict on your diet as it makes them feel insecure about what they are eating. Worse if you also don’t drink
Yeah, my girlfriend is the same, but the control I have over my diet is beginning to wear off on her, and she is making better choices about her diet now too. It takes time to get there, when eventually the effort and education pays off!
No alcohol is the easiest for me. I've always found the taste of alcohol to be absolutely disgusting, why would I have any interest in consuming it in decent-sized quantities? I don't think I'm missing out on anything at all. I don't eat potato chips, rarely ever have ice cream or pizza, but I'm not above small things like fruit chews or cookies. I don't buy meals that are full of preservatives. I play tennis 3-4 times a week (and I can't even get a break when I have a sore elbow because I'm somewhat ambidextrous playing tennis, lol) so I'd like to think I have good ways of moderating my body condition even if I don't do other things as often as I should.
I have done no alcohol and no “bad” or “cheat” meal before but it does take a toll on the family. I got a wife and 3 teens, 2 of them girls, so they are always wanting to do something so I am down to 2 bad meals. One with wife where I drink one with the kids when they want some kind of dessert. I train enough and I’m nearly 40 and still in very good shape so no point of depriving them of having those moments with their dad or some fun for wifey with her husband
I was heavy into the alcohol during my dating phase, I'd meet women every day and we'd go for drinks. On my own I've never drank alcohol. So when the bars closed during covid I stopped drinking. At the end of the day I think everybody has his own routine and things that make him feel at his best.
This kid is gonna make my eyes roll out of my head eventually. I'm hoping at some point the football will do the talking and we can more easily ignore his bizarre comments.
Yeah and especially if I want to keep muscle mass. Staying around 130 pounds, I can imagine you eat the healthiest diet. I am around 190 pounds so i do have to get some calories in there
Given he is at Madrid, I don't get why he would be pandering to a player who has nothing to do with the club, league, nor country. Unless he is looking long term for a move to the EPL ? Maybe there is some other alternate reason for this. Funny thing is that many older players complain that younger players don't know the history of football and its past legends ... when they pay some tribute, they are fake ...
I agree. It also isn't like he isn't a student of the game and have desires for greatness.. so it's quite normal people around him have shown him film of other great players so he can learn from them and see how they did their thing. It's very normal for a professional athlete but I get that people who haven't been in that world wouldn't understand that.
Maybe he's looking at his hairline moving up early and is planning this is a setup to bring the "barcode" combover back, the one from one side to the other. Also, let's be honest, saying a player can learn watching Bobby Charlton now is like saying Kyrie Irving can watch a lot watching Bob Cousy.
When I was kid playing football, I was a fan of the Brazilian Ronaldo and before that Klinsmann. How is it out of the realms of possibility that he researched best strikers of past decades and/or his family shown him video clips of great players of the past in a position he is excelling in? Bobby Charlton is an icon. Not some random player.
Well when you're castigated for saying what you think they would be fools to do so wouldn't they? Even if you do say something real and not even offensive someone somewhere will bash you for it anyways.
Yeah that’s why I said who cares. He may watch the player a lot, he may have just watched a clip here and there, or he never watched him and is pandering to show his knowledge of football history. we will never know. The kid said something harmless and we are here breaking it down lol.
