He loves his family, I think it was a social media post but he said something about his little brother not needing to worry anymore, that he'd take care of everything. Seems like good kid and a very supportive family, if they can stay humble and focused, he'll be more than ok.

It's a standard for athletes at this level but it shouldn't be. Way too much pressure on one person.

Plus, I hope Endrick becomes the catalyst to his family's economic improvement, and not some human ATM in which so many pro athletes eventually become. But we so have to admire his intention.

An excerpt from ex NBA superstar Charles Barkley:
"Money ruins all your relationships," Barkley says. "No matter what you do for your family, it's never enough."

That being said, good luck on your Madrid career kid. Hope you fulfill yoir potential here.

Well sorry to disappoint you but I can say with experience this is impossible lol.

I'm sure he will have good family.. hopefully he is blessed with both parents protecting him and not being money vultures. However it's always the externals that do the damage.

They demand and demand.. they put pressure on the parents. They have this mentality that we'll you have earned XYZ, so if you don't do more, give us half, do everything, etc... then you have done nothing and basically should do nothing because you're fake/useless/whatever

It's an extreme poverty mindset mixed with envy which turns to resentment of your success.. so everything you do is never enough because you get to enjoy a higher status lifestyle.

Don't forget about the "good" investments and brilliant business proposals from the cousins, uncles and aunties.

Man those come from your friends. The cousins, uncles and aunties expect you to buy them all homes, pay their expenses and give them comfortable living.

Shit I would give them money to start their own business because it would keep them out of my pockets :ROFLMAO:

Then comes the Church or whatever religious group you're with, community, etc... everyone with their hand out... everyone ungrateful saying you aren't doing enough and none of them matching the demand they place on you.

Just to clarify, I'm not saying don't give, be loving and kind. I truly believe in giving and supporting.

My issue is people are never grateful. It is never enough. They "love" you till you say 'no'.

Yep. I have a two step process to manage this issue.

    1. Do what you think is right, no more or less.

    2. Never do anything for someone expecting gratefulness from them. You did it because you thought it was right, not because you thought someone would be grateful to you.

I just hope he doesn't get fat. Being this stocky and bulky at the age of 18 makes it very likely that he will baloon in 5-10 years.

I assume Pintus won't be around much longer, if at all post Ancelotti, and even if he was, its hard to reverse the effects of body type and metabolism. It depends more on Endrick himself.

Yea. It depends on Endrick. Roberto Carlos had similar body type and he didn't get fat. Young Lukaku had similar body type though taller and he did indeed get bulky in mid 20s.

Meanwhile Higuain is a player no one would have expected to get fat during RM days but he did towards the end of his Serie A era.

Players have so much more information than back in the days....really there are very few acceptable excuses not be on top physically...... who knew about the effects of grains/gluten/sugar on inflammation like 30 years ago ?! (at least not in the football world)....

Now they have ALL the available information on what to do to keep in top shape and reduce the chances of injuries etc.......plus the specialised individual work on mobility etc etc..... It's almost too easy.

I imagine dudes back in the days would just run hard during training, lift a few weights and the rest was up to fate lol.

i really have zero sympathy for professional athletes that are overweight

not only is it your livelihood but just in practice and games you burn a ton of calories. How shitty is your diet that somehow you are still not in shape

One has to be so undisciplined and lazy to baloon from your 20s to your early 30s if youre a pro athlete.

The amount of calories these guys burn per day makes it so easy unless you have a medical condition.

I think you meant to say he's likely to Baloon d'Or in 5-10 years

As someone who doesn't drink, smoke, do drugs, eat sugar or junk food; I couldn't agree more. These are simple lifestyle choices that anyone can do, it literally just takes a small amount of willpower before it becomes a norm for you. The problem is that these guys, like Hedon Custard, think they'll just get away with it becuse they're young and they run a lot. Yeah well, once you turn 30 your body doesn't work like it used to when you were 20. And now you're a fat disgrace wearing a number 7 in Real Madrid's jersey. Thank God Vini worked out for us.

Rudiger is doing him a favor. Endrick has to get used to higher quality CBs to score now.

When you say you don't eat sugar, does that include fruits?
