It's quite obvious this is the biggest Brazilian talent since Vini Jr. Massively impressive start of his career. Let's hope he can fulfill his potential at Real Madrid!

Endrick can be massive player in the future who can contribute goals. Yet I think Estevao is better potential.
Chelsea trying to imitate us with Paez (Allready signed) and Estevao (matter of time).

    P.S.

I'm happy with Endrick, he seems to have that special sauce. Estevao and his silky dribbling could be great, but I could also see him ending up like Denilson, Robinho, Dembele etc. Really though, it's impossible to know at this early of an age.

They are different type of players so the comparison doesn't make sense. Positionally, it's like comparing Aguero and Robben. Not saying either will be in that league.

You would have to be a dumb coach to leave Endrick out of the Copa. Given Brazils other "options" in that position

I was shocked to see that was only Endrick's second assist with Palmeiras as I've always been impressed by his passing.

I think Endrick is a really solid player. My main question is still how he fits into our current personnel. As far as I can tell, he isn't Aguero, who uses his strength to pop up unexpectedly in the box (last night's goal withstanding). I've never seen him play most effectively as a true 9. He's more of a second striker in a 4-4-2 or a player who plays on the right side of a 4-3-3, but wants to come inside rather than going wide. He may have played there as a junior; I've only really watched him with Palmeiras senior team.

I do actually think he could work well with Mbappe, who will play centrally, but wants to drift left. Assuming Mbappe comes, I can see a lot of his minutes in his first year being as a sub for Vini, where Mbappe would then move left, or as a sub for one of the midfielders in a shift for a 4-3-3. I do like Endrick's willingness to fight and tackle (though as was posted above, he needs to be careful). so I think he'd work on the right with an offensively minded LB behind him (and Fede in support).

Endrick got to play as #9 vs Liverpool last night. But Abel is quite the tinkerman and Endrick has played all over the attack pretty much under him. I think he has looked promising with Brazil in the #9 role.

Also I have mentioned before that Palmeiras midfield is not creative at all. Finding scoring chances with that team is not easy in the Brazilian league usually. Liverpool are the weakest team in their Copa Libertadores group so they found a lot of joy playing them.

Never saw Estevao but it would be a pitty if we miss "new Ronaldinho" if you say so...even if we manage to sign him he would be a first team player in 4-5 years when Rodrygo is 28 years old and when its the last moment to sell him good if everything goes well(like we did with sales of Casemiro,Di Maria though they were bit older than)

It's a shame Endrick couldn't do anything against Flamengo or São Paulo. He has yet to play a great game against a strong team.

I AGREE [edit: oops] about Palmeiras midfield not being ideal to provide service to a CF in the box, but I didn't really see Endrick playing a #9 role last night (though I only started watching in the 40th minute or so, so he very well could have come out in that role). To me, he was picking up the ball much deeper and generally further right than I'd expect from a 9 and and relatively few of his touches were fed to him near the box, involving hold up, back to the goal play, or aimed at him being a finisher. Now again, that's partially due to the team, totally true.

Ironically, though, the goal he scored was a good #9 poachers header and his dribble and feed for the assist started on the left, so both were atypical for what I'm claiming. Goes to show his general skill/versatility though. He's not a super flashy dribbler, but he really is a very good all around player, esp for his age.

Exactly. I'm also quite surprised at all this "better than ..." and "higher potential than ..." talk. Endrick was hyped up to be "the new Pele" (lol!). If that's the case (which is already silly talk mind you), what's this Estevao kid? Can't get much better than "the new Pele" in Brazil, I assume. In other words, this is all a bit silly. I'm happy with Endrick, a player that is obviously very special and has in fact shown it already at the very highest of stages, and I accept that you simply can't catch 'm all. We'll be fine, with or without this Estevao, whom I expect to make a move to another bit league.

In the new season, right? I remember him dismantling Botafogo last season when they were title contenders. That loss hurt their morale and struggled from their on.

Inconsistency is expected when you are 17 year old playing in the top division with non stop schedule. Similar to the "rookie wall" in NBA. Good thing there won't be pressure for him to be our main scorer next season. He will need a year or two of adaptation period at RM level.

Not surprised he is called up but he has a great chance of actually starting since Richarlison is out injured.

He's so much better than that fraud called Richarlison. Brazil forward trio of starters is Vini, Endrick, Rodrygo.

Calling up Estêvão would've been premature. He's only freshly turned 17 and began playing with the senior team this year. He's started...5-6 games across all comps? Keep him away from the national team spotlight - he'll be there soon enough - and let him play starting minutes at Palmeiras, especially during the Copa period where the league will be flying under the radar. Much better for him.

Endrick's Palmeiras career - at least for now - is over in 2-3 weeks. Thankfully there's still a lot of other promising players to watch there once he's gone.

So I was reading about Endrick's mother removing his girlfriend from a family photo they posted somewhere and investigated further.

Turns out his girlfriend posts videos about guys she has already hooked up with and her photos and comments with her personal trainer are extremely affective, to say the least.

Looks like his mother is trying to protect him from an obvious gold-digger. People are saying if Neymar's mother was like Endrick's, Neymar would have had a completely different career.

People say these girls have been lining up outside Palmeiras' youth training ground lately, scouting the "love of their lives" who may become the next big star, haha.

Palmeiras has been in bad form lately, and Endrick is clearly mentally somewhere else. So, this piece of news caught my attention. I'm rooting for his mother.

He also made a very ugly tackle again yesterday, got suspended.

There was a report from one of the Brazilian websites I saw about a month or so ago that mentioned how Endrick and his girlfriend have some kind of "relationship contract" that, among other things, specifies that the two of them need to exchange greetings of affection "as often as possible" or some weird thing to that effect.

The whole thing sounds super, super f*ckin weird.
