We are better with him than with Rony. Had a nice flick when we were down to 10 men. Fortaleza neutralized our attacks well, and Palmeiras always struggles after NT breaks. Sadly, there was no Pele reincarnated performance from him last night.
Couldn't do much as Fortaleza marked the whole team well for the most part. After we equalized, he did have a nice run taking on a couple of players when he was given some space on the counter. The one dribble he did was pretty nice, a quick touch one way and the another in the other direction to get past his player in speed. Tried to put a through pass at the end of the play but missed the pass. Still, the right idea there IMO. I will see if I can find a video.

Thank goodness. I was hoping that it was a thigh cramp - which are super painful - but given our luck this year, I didn't even dare say it out loud. Palmeiras needs him as they now have to win their last two matches to win the title with Botafogo getting a penalty in the 98th minute to win their game and pull within a point.
Actually Botafogo conceded right after and are 3 points behind. We can win the title with 4 points now. But we also have a 7 and 8 goal difference from 2nd and 3rd places, so 3 points could be enough as GD is the tiebreaker after # of wins.
