So we at least had 2 players who could have played on the right and Xabi was looking confused.

Blame Vinicius and players all you want but I said this weeks ago, decisions like those are why he would lose his job.

It's still the fault of Florentino and JAS to properly fortify the team with a better midfield passing option but Xabi froze Endrick completely out. He did even consistently use Rodrygo and that player actually helped him much the last days.

Endrick missed CWC due to injury and was out till late September as well. Franco, Rodrygo, Brahim were RW options by then and even Gonzalo wasn't playing much as Mbappe's back up.

Better RW than Franco. I don't understand Xabi's logic at all.

Mason Greenwood has won the player of the month award in France more than any other player in 2025.

The clip is almost exclusively him kicking the ball behind much slower players and running through them.

I also saw two amazing passes, particularly the second one. I would have loved still having him as an option, but I've said that consistently.

I have a friend who is huge Lyon fan, big supporter for many years. He said Endrick just looking very good so far, always threat. Yesterday he was very good and could have had couple assists easily.

In a way, Xabi's treatment of him may work for the best long term. If he started here or had more game time, I feel he would have been dragged down by the slump the rest of the team is going through. He needs a team like Lyon who at least have some drive to them.

He’s getting playing time and building his confidence back up. This is in no way a bad thing for us or him. Yeah we could use him but we have issues that go far beyond minutes for Endrick that we have to figure out which would undoubtedly stunt his development

I would expect him to look good in a League that Mason Greenwood currently dominates.

Careful, wouldn't want to say that the French league isn't a good indicator. Our highest paid player is from there.

If Endrick scores 40+ goals there and wins a world cup playing out of his mind i will have to adjust my view.

In a way Endrick going out on loan is better for him IF he can get consistent game time.
From what is reported it looks like the kid is doing well, happy for him.

At least he comes back with more confidence and more European experience.

I like him being on loan.

Mariano scored 18 goals for Lyon in the Ligue 1, that is more goals than he has scored in his entire career in any kind of League competition put together. I expect a player with national team potential to be very very good there.

This is what it is about, routine and development. Clearly our team is not the right place for players to thrive at this moment considering the issues at hand. We did him a favor.

Such a bizarre description of that clip. It's just really not the case.

It is to me, you are free to draw your own conclusions from it, player evaluations differ between professional scouts, don't expect it to be any different between fans.

This loan is a blessing for him. Get's him away from the divas that have infested our dressing room. I hope he shines and blossoms. He has all the talent in the world man.

Someone needs to call Xabi Alonso and fire him again for what he did to Endrick.

12 minutes played in La Liga

Apparently Xabi was the man who was going to "disrupt the status-quo" :D you have to laugh

Endrick and Gonzalo had to share non Mbappe minutes. He started a CDR game and was a sub vs City. He himself said missing CWC and early part of La Liga season due to injury made things complicated.

He broke the status quo by trusting Franco who worked hard, pressed well and we were defensively solid early on in the season winning 13 out of 14. You conveniently ignored that as you like to blame Xabi for everything including elimination against Albacete few days back. :D

Mate he killed Mastantuono and went back to VINI_MBAPPE_RODRYGO. The status quo
He killed Arda guler and wen't back to JUDE. The status quo

Did nothing for Gonzalo or Endrick. I just want you to admit he did something wrong for once.
