Can't believe nobody started this thread yet. For those of us in the States, game will be shown on Fuel TV. Me neither. Check your local cable listings. I imagine our 'best' lineup will be trotted out.
We want a win here, and as Newcastle will want a win at the Bitters to try and guarantee a Champions League place, we can jump above them again. Small victory, I know, but I still want to finish ahead of them.
in! i've got fuel tv on FIOS, but not in HD... so, what's the plan here? blood some youngsters, or have the regulars try to take us out on a high note? either way, let's get sterling a start, no?
Line up and play to win. Going ahead of the bitters would be a minor triumph, bigger on Merseyside of course. Play the yunguns' when we're ahead.
---------------Reina Johnson----skirt-----Agger------Enrique Bellamy---Gerrard ---Henderson-----Downing -----------Suarez------Gerrard Take 3 points. Newcastle beats the Biiters and Fulham draws. We finish 7 Get ready for next year
In for the win here. It really is important to pip seventh from the neighbors. I'll be a Geordie Sunday as well... ermmm, well not really but I do expect them to turn the bitters over.
You've a Gerrard clone stashed somewhere? ReinaJohnson || Skrtel || Agger || AurelioKuyt || Gerrard|| Henderson || SterlingSuarez || Carroll Though I am tempted to stick with Henderson/Shelvey in the mid.
I read Sterling and thought Spearing for some damn reason. Oh, the last game of the season. How bittersweet. I'm ready to end this season but I know I'll be so ready for a game in about a month.
I'd be tempted to start with Shelvey and Henderson in the middle, too. Keep Gerrard away from our box unless we're defending a set-piece, and tell him to trust his team-mates, i.e. stop dropping deep and leaving nobody to run into the pace behind Carroll and Suarez. Downing can catch a rest-- even against a Chelsea side being over-run he still sought to hide
Got an early morning tomorrow the Spanish F1 GP from Barcelona then our last match. Want to see use go out on a high.
Then you'll need this, mate. It's been a long fackin season. I would enjoy seeing Citeh taking the title from Scum.
Doesn't appear to be one. Just from the numbers, this game looks dreadful. Swansea holding 66% possession in minute 30. 0-0
Uninspiring half. Carroll at least showed some fight at the end, though it earned him a yellow. Downing-Kelly on the right really doesn't work. Please bring on Dirk.
My stream has been pretty bad. 0-0 at HT. Carroll booked. Doni with a couple of saves. Not much doing for the Reds offensively.
Didn't expect to see much of an effort in this match, and the first half has lived up to expectations. Will enjoy getting a break from having to watch the no-talent Jordan Henderson for the next few months.
I admIt I'm distracted by the madness of the City game (pub has all the games on; we're understandably relegated to a small screen on the periphery). But we. Onto he to play like nothing matters (which, I understand, it doesn't).
