Click here. One of most famous goals in Metro history gets two clips. The MSG clip is Woly.mpg The foxsportsworld clip is Woly1.mpg.
Thanks! You knew it was an amazing stike seeing it live from 101, the replay shows how truly great it was! Also, the replay shows what an perfect ball Guervara served up. That ball was every bit as perfect as Woly's finish. Any way to get this one as a permanent feature in the Metrofanatic archives?
Can I get a Dumbass to English translation from you please? I asked a very reasonable question. 18MB for a goal clip is assinine
http://www.geocities.com/castmind/woly.html Here's a dial-up friendly clip of the goal (and just the goal) at 1.5mb.
Wow, that goal was amazing. Was it Del Piero or Batitusta who scored a similar goal a few years back, only he was all alone, not running, and the pass was much slower? Woly's goal kicks that one's ass.
Bati I was there in person to see it Real Ray, thanks for the clip. Edit: Umm...I thought they had a Super Football Line Sucker Upper Machine at Giants Stadium?? yuck
That's as good a football pic I've ever seen! The "holy sh1t I actually scored that thing!" of Woly, to the "I just saw my life pass before my eyes" look of Busch to the "ahhhhhhh F***..." of Clark Priceless foto
Re: Re: The Famous Woly Goal Clip The goal I'm talking about was Fiorentina. almost identical to the one Woly scored...if he did it TWICE, once for Roma, I wouldnt no...I never paid any attention to them
Well, Ruiz' bike was a nice bit of work as well, so let's not give him the trophy just yet, but it was amazing. Busch looked like he got shot. I'm not sure if he was surprised more by the shot or by who took it, but it was a comical reaction. For Woly Andre Flo to go full volley left footed into the top corner off at 52 yard free kick...I'd say those are some powerball-level odds at work. He'll be 70 and still talking about that one.
Woly seems to be able to have that "sense of occasion" about overtime. Like the time he was de-pantsed at Dallas?
One thing I haven't heard is how he beat his man down the field. His hustle got him in position to hit that amazing shot.
As good as the shot was, the goalie has to get to that ball.....you see the defender looking at him (on clip) like "where were you?"
