The Champions League draw happened today: Any thoughts on the draw?

Did anyone catch the Blackburn/Liverpool match the other day? It seemed to me that Friedel misjudged that 2nd goal from Liverpool, he seemed pretty upset when he saw the ball in the back of his net.

I don't see myself chancing for awhile, probably won't have as much interest about overseas soccer as I do domestic.

Newcastle and Arsenal both have tough groups.

    Ok.

Dumb question from your typical American "new to Euro soccer" soccer fan ;)

I noticed that after tomorrow, there are NO league matches this weekend in the EPL until Tuesday of next week. Is there a reason why this is?

Probably due to International matches going on.

Actually I also thought to post the same question on the England Premiership board, and they said the same thing.

Thanks for your response though, Eggy :) It is appreciated.

I just found out that this weekend they are having Euro 2004 qualifying matches, hence the weekend layoff.
