I know it's probably talked about ad nauseam but the lack of bowling talent in English cricket is alarming. We gifted them about 30 runs at the back end of their innings and completely piled the pressure on our batters (who mostly underperformed themselves tbf). Deserved and fairly comprehensive defeat there.
Not sure McCullum and Brook will be in post in two months time (I feel like both will be removed with the aim of reducing the focus on Brook before he replaces Stokes as Test captain.
England's two white-ball series in South Africa next year are in doubt amid the latest scheduling clash that pits franchise cricket against the international game - The Guardian
Aussies beaten by Zimbabwe. Surprised this is the first upset. The games I have watched have been pretty close for significant stages (not watched many games TBF).

Have Scotland got a lot of ringers in or do they just produce decent cricketers under the radar who can obviously match us it seems.
What was Brook doing there? Just seems so unnecessary when still in a strong position to chase down the target without player risky shots. Something I don’t understand with our cricketers, just don’t seem to play the in game situation well.
Not a good first 30 minutes so far for the rugby, so sloppy so far and missed far to many tackles for my liking!
That’s the game gone now, Arundel with his second yellow of the game so gets a red card and we’re down to 14 for 20 minutes. Can’t see a way back with the way we are currently playing.
Boggles my mind how we've been so consistently poor against this bang average Scotland team for the last few years.
Scotland always get up for their Cup final every year but we have just been so poor today. Second half has been better with 14 men but that Ford attempted drop goal charged down and they go from their own half to score just sums up our day. The amount of unforced errors today has been horrendous.
We also played some brain dead rugby, just before that drop goal attempt, we had a penalty that ended up getting timed out because we kept go going through the phrases. If we wanted 3 points just go for an up and under which Scotland would probably end up with the ball or we could score a try but the end would have been the same attempt.
Every time I watch us at Murrayfield we are so error strewn. Handling errors have been disgraceful. Would have had a chance if we had been mildly competent.
Yeah it’s been shocking and probably one of the reasons they have lost today, over 10 handling errors and I think 3 we’re basically next to there try line. Just so annoying that we seem to have this mental block against Scotland at Murryfield!
They do, but I still think it's down to us not coping with it more than them playing up. They've been far too dominant in the last 6-7 years and I don't think that can be explained simply by them being performing above their usual level. So much has to go wrong for them to beat us six times out of nine in rugby, with us winning only two. It's really poor on our end and definitely raises questions about the team's metal.
