Ah, that makes sense because for the life of me I couldn't remember that goal either, but then again I saw those Europa badges and I don't always tune into those games.
What Mathias is on about is too beyond the norm for me to believe outright. I'll entertain it, but there needs to be hard proof to be believed. From what I'm gathering, Paul got involved with criminals in France and they offered him "protection." Not sure what exactly is meant by protection, but it might have something to do with how a lot of footballers get targeted by burglars, not getting blackmailed (like what happened to Valbuena). Who knows. He didn't pay what they felt they were owed and Mathias, who didn't know much about it before (or so he claims), got stuck in the middle while his brother hid behind bodyguards inside his well protected home. The only reason Mathias and his mom didn't go to the police was because they were afraid of "reprisals." Maybe they were afraid something was done in all this that could get them all in legal trouble or targeted even worse by the criminals. Mathias also seems to be suggesting that Paul is jealous of Mbappe's rise to fame. And that the sorcerer he hired helped Man U beat PSG in 2019, and did things to help France in Euro 2016, and helped France win the World Cup in 2018. As ridiculous as all that sounds, it does seem a little too strange to me that his own brother would extort him like this. But that could be what he's doing with these supposed revelations.
Its only beyond the norm to you typical citizens of Europe and America. I cant speak for South America, but in Africa this isnt not beyond the norm.
