Van't Schip is amazing when it comes to the nuts and bolts of training, preparation, etc. He was the Holland assistant to van Basten in Euro 2008 when they tore the World Cup finalists to pieces. And he was expecting to takeover at Ajax, but ten Hag stayed on, so van't Schip started looking elsewhere (ended up with Greece). As a coach, he's among the very best out there. As a manager, he's finding his feet still. He could be the man to lead Holland or maybe Ajax sooner than later. I think the fact he chose Greece was because he wanted the Holland job and this was his chance to prove his worth.
Eric Cantona: the outcast who conquered England. Eric Cantona & Manchester United: Football's Cult Heroes | Football News | Sky Sports Something I have often wondered about is how a player like Cantona would be perceived in this day and age. Such a marriage made in heaven though with United: he was perfect for the club and the club (especially SAF's handling of him) was absolutely perfect for him also.

1425192272086319106 is not a valid tweet id Some goal scored by Morrison for Derby in what looked to be a Carabao Cup thriller against Salford. Game ended up 3-3, with Derby winning the shootout to go thru.
It isn't that far off. Keane dominated the ball. He completed more passes than anyone else in the league during his peak. He was top most seasons bar the year he had surgery of course. He controlled the game and his influence was unrivaled.
Keano is still among my all-time favs. A freaking force. How they went from him to Gaz as captain perplexes me to this day.
Lukaku was never fat or out of shape in his time at United but it is known that he had put on alot of muscle mass. Very clear that he's seriously leaned out in his time in Italy, which will have helped with his speed and mobility. And that of course is before the clear progress he's made at Inter as a player and a striker under Conte. Can definitely see him being a handful this season and with all things being equal, he'll likely be a top contender for the Golden Boot this season in the Prem.
Ravel Morrison signed with Derby and starts against Hull today. Rooney also signed Phil Jagielka and a couple other seasoned pros. Wonder how it will work out for them this season. Rocky start so far with Rooney in the papers. If he really wants to get the band back together he should sign Rafa, who is now a free agent after spending some time in Turkey.

Great shout out for Rafa. Regarding Rooney and Derby, he has done well in three games with a squad looking to be relegated. A win, a draw, and a loss. Ravel has been good. He looks he finally will get playing time combined with a mature brain.
🗣️ Daley Blind on his time at Manchester United:“In England many people want their centre-backs to be very physical, and strong in the air. In the year I played alongside Chris Smalling, we conceded the least goals from all teams. I think I succeeded at United as CB.” 💪 #MUFC pic.twitter.com/8yYB84peOb— Man United News (@ManUtdMEN) August 18, 2021 Unapologetic member of the Daley Blind fan club. Thought he did very well for us in what was a rocky period at the club. Always thought it was a shame that he left when he did, but he never was a Mourinho type player.
