It rarely disappoints to be honest. I mean, who doesn't enjoy a nice story. If it's in any inspirational and compelling, all the better...
Our deepest sympathies are with the loved ones of former United forward and Busby Babe, Alex Dawson, who has sadly passed away at the age of 80.He will be fondly remembered by all of us at the club. May he rest in peace. pic.twitter.com/dLzYN9H3wH— Manchester United (@ManUtd) July 17, 2020
Midfielder Ravel Morrison has ended his loan spell at Middlesbrough after boss Neil Warnock told him he was no longer required at the Riverside https://t.co/7iHeAhbOFe— BBC North East (@BBCNEandCumbria) July 20, 2020
This conversation has been had before. Some here think he deserves to keep getting 2nd (and 9th) chances. I'm of the opinion that hes had enough. He's obviously either not performing or is bad for the dressing room if all of these coaches want nothing to do with him.
Remember seeing some extended highlights of this game but didn't realize that Sterling had played. Kinda wild how each of their careers panned out after this.
he has to eventually settle somewhere. he isn't even playing at this point or for the last couple of years and he's supposed to be entering his physical peak now. whatever talent he has is underdeveloped and probably diminishing at this point. if i had to guess i'd say it's more likely he will give it up and retire early than establish himself somewhere. if he's not on a play to pay basis, he's essentially stealing wages and blocking the pathway for someone else

Money so very well spent: that's the kind of player you spend a world record fee on.
With grand promises of Cesc and Herrera, only to make a “bold” move and sign his boy from his last club.

Doesn't matter in hindsight if he was backed correctly or not, if it's very obvious he was not the right man for the job. Something that has been pretty much proven in his short stint in charge. Whatever else one thinks about Ole, he's a much better fit than Moyes ever could have been, because he clearly has an understanding of what the club is about in terms of its philosophy and ethos.
Was never worthy of backing up. Everything he did at the club was an absolute shambles. It doesn't even matter that he was directly after Sir Alex - he managed to be appalling in his own right. He was a phenomenal ditherer, everything he said in public was utterly small time, he had no plan whatsoever and he made sure nobody competent was around to advise him. It's telling that it's only fans of other clubs who think he should have had more backing.
It was a sign of things to come when he dismissed Fergie’s suggestion of keeping the backroom staff for support and continuity and he brought in his flunkies from Everton.
