Might be an innocent comment from Scholes, but given his history (him and a few others as well), you can't help thinking it's directed at someone.
And I don't believe it's Ighalo as some seem to suggest either...

A month and a half after undergoing heart surgery and being fitted with a defibrillator. Here's hoping he's able to return as good/strong as before. Well done on his part though.

Is there a precedence for this where a pro plays with one? Kinda hoping he gives up playing and find other ways to enjoy life.

If you are missing the fact we have no game and need a fix, could do worse :)

Still shows little signs that he's slowing down either at 35.

Never forget. You seriously have to salute Evra for his self control: bet he wanted to deck Suarez bad that day.

Funny how the Liverpool CEO apologized to Evra a few weeks ago but never a peep from Suarez, Dalglish or their fans.

King on his failed move to United.

    https://www.skysports.com/football/...-transfer-could-have-happened-on-deadline-day

Seems pretty clear that he'd probably still want to come if the opportunity presented itself in the summer. And it wouldn't be much of a surprise, if Ole still has the job then, that he'd make a move for him.
That being said, there is no shortage of potential options worth pursuing: Werner, Dembele, Isak and even Edouard are all guys who should be available and who would fit into our plan on building for the long term. Would cost a bit more than King but it still would make sense than going for a 28yr old.
Had no problem with King as a short term option for the remainder of the season, but it might be a blessing that the move fell thru. Will give the club the opportunity to explore their options and go for a sounder move in the summer at that position, if they play their cards right.

He came on in the 77th min of Ajax's win vs Vitesse yesterday.

Couldn't cut it consistently in the Prem and it's just nice to see AY doing well so far in Serie A. As someone mentioned, that league is like rehab for United players. ;)

    RIP Harry Gregg
    [IMG]

I know he was great goalkeeper for us but his most shining moment was at the crash in Munich when he pulled a number of people including Bobby Charlton and Denis Violet from the plane to safety. A true hero.
