Drawn into a group with Canada, China, and New Zealand. I'm excited to see how the Dutch ladies fair against the Canadians. Of course this will be the one time where I'll be going for the team playing against the Netherlands. Hope both make it out of the group though

It's a shame that the final is being played in Vancouver. Should be in Montreal. I have very little faith in Vancouver's ability to draw a large crowd to the final. They didn't even manage to sell out the Grey Cup final this past weekend.

As for Toronto, the traffic excuse is a complete load of bullshit. For one, it's not like we've never had the Leafs, Jays, and TFC all playing at home at the same time before. Also, the Pan Am games aren't all being played downtown. They're being played all over the GTA. That means the traffic downtown wont really be any worse compared to any other sports night. And most people take public transit to games downtown anyways.

Not to mention the fact that BMO field is the most suitable field for big soccer games in the country. And it'll have a capacity of 40k by the time of the WWC.

The Canada vs Netherlands game will be in Montreal, at least.

Seems as though Canada and the Netherlands make up a pretty tough group with New Zealand ranked the lowest (19th). Group of Death goes to 'D' with 3 teams in the top 10, and Nigeria at spot 35.

Canada will get to face-off against a 3rd place finish in the knockout stage while the Netherlands will have to face a group runner up from 'C'. (?Netherlands vs Switz. 2nd round?) I am very confident in this progression from our group.

I have already seen fouls and tackles that would make Busquets act like he was kicked into the parking garage of the stadium. Women do not look to get each other out of the game with yellow and red cards, like it should be.
