mostly at tailgates, bus trips and viewing parties. we've never sang it in stadium that i can recall.
I got a first-hand lesson on how to sing that song from Tommy (Grillmaster)the time I brought a bottle of Jameson to a tailgate.
to be quite candid. the only "true" way to learn the "drinking song" is to first have tommy give you the whole "hemingway" thing with some shots. you need the full experience. of course if you want the advanced course, ride in a mini van for 8 hours passing a bottle between you, GM and Vladsta
I was in the PimpMomma van on the first road trip to Cumblowus this year with GM and vladsta. I've seen the hollow legs in action.
My attempt happened at The Exchange downtown. After I staggered to the Metro and then woke up as the train was pulling into the Stadium Armory stop around 11:00 pm on a friday night no less, I figured it wasn't a good idea to keep up with those two.
Glad I'm not the only one. After the Chicago trip, it took a while to get out of the doghouse after that weekend. I do remember having "Garcia" security threaten to throw me out a few times because I kept lighting up my cigar. I also remember drinking lots of bourbon. I don't remember much of the game. I'm pretty sure we lost and the ref was mostly to blame. I think I had fun otherwise though.
