and history shows us that militaries do so well after top generals are purged politically. The beginnings of the Finland-Soviet war and the German-Soviet war are prime examples.
Members of the MSM have to go back home to their Trump families for the holidays and they don't want to write anything that would make anyone feel bad.
I'm happy to say mine doesn't! But then my living family consists of an immigrant, a single woman, a woman married to a black man, and two gay guys (one married, one single). Not exactly Trump demographics (except maybe the single woman, but she's never voted Republican in her life, as far as I know).
“economic anxiety” is so 2016 now…… Yet I still see some pundits talking about how some folks are upset at the price or eggs or the price of gas. Gaslighting us along the way…..SMFH.
Case in point ….. “ economic anxiety “ Glad Eddie Graude pushed back. https://www.msnbc.com/11th-hour/wat...being-authentic-and-being-honest-224268869645
Glaude said what most non-Latino POCs have known since we were fetuses, but that plenty of Whites have been silent about.
Another day that's worse than the last. Some see the glass as half full. Others see it as half empty. But I know the glass is broken into shards.
Or the entire population of generals and admirals could threaten to resign if he tries this. This is going to be a crisis of monumental proportions if he follows through with it.
If he is willing to have a talking head be secded, I think he'd have no problem with a stooge wearing bars and stars.
I think the US could actually see a military coup if things go too far off the rails, and the public would probably cheer for it.
I'm thinking it would be more of a wake-up call to Congress since they have to confirm 3-4 star generals/admirals. Except for that moron Tuberville, there are very few members of congress who agree with Trump on this issue.
Nah. The military will make some noise and probably cede to some minor whims (some will resign), but for the most part, they will kind of go along. Congress, too, will just confirm some really bad generals under the illusion that the military is not doing Trump's bid. There will not be a mass resignation or a coup, just a slow decline into a Trumpish stalemate, where the military doesn't do his full bid but neither overthrows him. Now, if Vance gets into power, that could really get ugly.
This. Even some here are clinging to the "economy" nonsense. When alleged Dems don't see what time it's always been, the war is over.
