Did all of these except the go karts (was too young) and the cannonball loop which was only open for a brief time. They put an escape hatch in it at the top to get people out. There was also the Tarzan swing that was a rope swing that dropped you in 50 degree natural spring pool

One ride they experimented with was big inflatable tubes you'd get inside and ride down the mountain. But test pilots were rolling so fast they ended up on the other side of Route 94.

Truly was. Like stoned out 70s teens designed the rides. I wiped out on the Alpine Slide and skinned my knee but some got roadrash down their entire leg & side.

The wave (grave) pool was insane. I knew how to swim at 10 or 11 but still kept to the shallow end. Buses of yoots from NYC came every weekend and lifeguards had to be plucking kids out who didnt swim well or even swim at all.

The documentary is worth watching. It's something that's hard to believe even existed.
