Probably true, I can only speak to the hiking which was excellent. Not too many people, plenty of shade, cool temps and lots of natural beauty.

Yeah, so there was a little basketball game last night. I was distracted. Anyhow, I thought some context was needed.

I'm enjoying my stay in my old home town in the Berkshires. Lots of wild things...animals too! :whistling:

One of the lamps went out on my 2011 Leaf. Apparently, I can't just replace a bulb and the fix costs $800. Now we just use the high beams which are dimmer than most modern cars low beams.

On this day in 1975, Roby's MIL goes on the warpath when he forgets to bring home the ricotta for the Sunday lasagna.

Nuh uh....my MIL began the hostilities on 25 July 1964. It continued til she went belly up about 14 yrs ago. Her ashes are in a sealed reinforced strongbox encased in 6' of cement to be safe. Gee, I miss our fun times! :(

Take a guess where this was painted?

    Collect_Pond-Bayard_Mount-NYC_(cropped) (1).jpg

A 1798 watercolor of Collect Pond. Bayard's Mount, a 110-foot (34 m) hillock, is in the left foreground. Prior to being levelled around 1811 it was located near the current intersection of Mott and Grand Streets.

L'Enfant wanted to make the area into a park but was shot down for housing which eventually turned into the Five Points slum.

Medieval sword found well-preserved in a Dutch river. Has some symbols on it & when translated they mean "wooden shoes are stupid AF. Is this really the best we can do, people?"

This Medieval Sword Pulled From a Dutch Riverbed Is Marked With Intricate Copper Symbols

The artifact was remarkably preserved for a millennium in anaerobic clay on a private estate near the city of Montfoort
