I kept hearing a dinging noise, then realized it was the surfer's solid iron balls banging together.

This is one of the places I'm looking at as a possible location to move to.

Considering it too. Have they not tightened up the restrictions on foreigners buying property?

I have an EU passport, so not an issue for me.

edit: A quick check says no issue for foreigners in general. I believe the "golden visa" is what is more problematic now.

Well, I was driving home tonight and almost hit a bear crossing the road.

    So, that was interesting.

Still trying to figure out what he was doing. Trying to make Central Park bicyclists look bad that they smashed a bear?

I have a cousin with a small farm a bit further south of there. It may soon be a time to visit.

Wolf pups!?!??! I mean, cute, but this is some sort of a trap, not a distraction!

Those things will grow up and EAT YOUR FACE.

Think I saw some episodes of a doc series on it. It's nuts how the surfing community only "found it" relatively recently.

Yes! Well done sir. Clear day, warm even, followed by some tasty rockfish sandwiches in Bodega Bay, Not a bad day, even forgot about politics briefly.

That’s it. They were doing some controlled burns north of Jenner but it couldn’t have been much nicer where we were.

Busy day for me. This morning I built a frame for a mini hot house. My Myers Lemon has about 20 healthy lemons coming up, plus bunches of starts. But the heat has gone. We have beautiful sunny days but not warm. So this cover with a home made heater may help

I couldn’t finish today, I was playing my guitar and singing with group at the local market cafe. Fun afternoon.

Life doesn’t have to end because you’re in your mid 80s. :)

Yeah I heard about those burns. Seemed like an odd time just after we finished a red flag warning, but what do I know.
