I really, really hope this isn’t a voice-to-text error. I mean, slurring like that at 9:25 in the morning?
Mount Everest, of course, is the world's highest point—if you don't count Mauna Kea or Ecuador's Mount Chimborazo (details here). But Everest hasn't always been the planetary champ. The Himalayas started to form "only" forty million years ago, a relatively brief time span in geologic terms. If you had a time machine, where would you find the planet's highest point ever? The answer might be closer to home than you realize. New Jersey and Florida were once part of Africa. Three hundred and thirty million years ago, the continent we now know as Africa pushed itself right into the eastern coast of North America, forming the supercontinent of Pangaea. During the Pangaean era, you could walk straight from New York to Morocco, and from Florida to Sierra Leone. In the year 300,000,000 BS (Before Snooki), the Jersey shore wasn't shore at all. https://www.cntraveler.com/story/appalachian-mountains-may-have-once-been-as-tall-as-the-himalayas
Pfff, 'Horny, lonely' dolphin blamed for attacks on beachgoers in Japan New York Post|19 days ago A lonely dolphin has been blamed for a spike in attacks on beachgoers in Japan, with experts warning the aquatic animal may be lashing out due to sexual frustration. More than 45 people have been
hmm... judging from the boring flatness of Florida, I would have guessed that its much younger than that and was formed from sediment and shit drifting down the Mississippi or something like that. Also, the shapes of South America and Africa would suggest that where Sierra Leone is today would have once been connected to South America (somewhere around French Guiana).
That's a delicious bowl of Shrimp Alfredo with lovely fresh snap peas and caramelized onions. I don't need any reviews, as you weren't going to be offered a spoonful in any case! My next dish will merge shrimp with spaghetti sauce and chopped zucchini for crunch. I'll be here when you need advice on food or jazz!
I need help. I had a friend make a FB post and said " shout out to DJ Big Worry, that party was off the radar scale." I don't know how to not correct them when I next see them.
I hate it for you. And for anyone whose diet has to be monitored in some way. Food's too important not to just be able to enjoy without concern.
Truth told...eat what you like. Those noodles look like Double-Aughts whilst mama mia always used Spaghettini No 9 whenever preparing with sea food. Zio Alfredo was never invited!
Not sure what you mean... I Googled "00 Fettucine" and came up empty. EDIT: The Barilla box says #6. How many different sizes were needed, and for what?
Like shot gun shells and wire gauge the higher the number the smaller [thinner] it gets. I get Barilla tortellini and always cook in salted water and then add to hot chicken broth...never in sauce or salad. They recommend cooking for 15 min....I do 20! C'est la vie! Ps...angel hair pasta is a no. 10.
Always salted water with a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking, and 20 minutes as well. Al Dente reminds me of Wrigley's that's just a little too old, so I cook it longer. I got fettucine because that's the pasta I've always associated with Alfredo Shrimp. The peas are the stroke of genius, tho. I saute them with the onions and some chopped bell peppers in garlic and butter, then the shrimp. The sauce is heated up later in the same pan with whatever juices remain. It doesn't get mixed together until the very end, still quite hot, and will blend as it cools. Whatever it is, I'd have to tell you the same thing. I knew exactly what he meant..
NGL- I'm tripping that this is actually a song. Folks knew what was up, just couldn't do much about it.
