Was thinking it had a dusting of confectioner's sugar on top.

Saw a show on Escobar's hippos. There are over 100 now in his former compound & in the Magdalena River nearby.

 

Never mind jamon...try a slice of the pina and hipopótamo one. Yum!!

My Sis had a bunch of his vinyl records that I still have.

 

JM could sing, full stop. Probably was an influence of Al Jarreau- they certainly have a similar sound.

 

Now that I think about it I have quite a few 78 vinyls. If I post the titles is there any way I can block @Auriaprottu from seeing them. I don't need any snide remarks today.

I actually have a 78 somewhere in the house. I had it as a child, didn't know any better, and played it for years at 33 1/3. Never liked that record until I heard it at the intended speed...

For one of my kid's birthday party my wife mentioned she'd get some 45's out of the attic they could play. My son's remarked, "You're gonna let us play with guns!

 

Looks like the local adult league my son played in last summer, which consisted mostly of older Latinos who only spoke Spanish and younger Latinos who only spoke English. From what he said about the reffing some amateur VAR would’ve been a nice addition.

 

Now that you're all growed up have you progressed?

Yeah...I'm able to watch and listen to all of my favorites pretty much whenever. Aretha Franklin filled in for Pavarotti when he was taken ill. She gave quite a performance of Nessun Dorma. His version is not too shabby either.

 

It was cool that Andrea Bocelli did a version at the second-to-last game of Leicester City's title season (remember, they clinched the title sitting at home on a midweek night).

 

America, Holland and England etc Got Talent shows have some amazing performers. 10 yr old girls singing opera will knock your socks off!

 

Holland Got Talent....9 yr old...cripes!

 

We had them all in England, long time gone

 

F*** you. I'm supposed to be going to my voice lesson in 20 minutes. But now I'm too depressed.
