    I must admit even with Mané missing I had a bit of a soft spot for Senegal. Had. Clicked an article 3 minutes ago. One of Senegal’s assistant coaches? F.ucking El f.ucking Hadji f.ucking Diouf.

    Come on Harry Kane!! Long time listener first time caller.

    You know, I spent the first 33 years of my life being over the moon when Germany got knocked out of a major tournament. Then, after 2018, it just felt sad. Never thought I'd see the day. Guess I'll turn my hatred towards Portugal, especially with no Jota.

    Now if we could get Brazil and France out of there, we'd have a fun WC!

    It was pretty fun, especially in the second half, keeping track of the goals and group positions.
    So happy for the Japanese. They’re just kids.

    So...

    I take it that Brazil and Portugal will advance from tomorrow's action, but the other two to advance are still tbd - and it could go a multitude of ways...probably not much like today's action, but still...

    And...here are my hopes and expectations...
    Groups A and B - I hope the USA wins at least one more game, and in the other game it's kind of a toss up between Senegal and England (although I expect England to win)

    Groups C and D - I expect Argentina to win, but I hope the Aussies can pull an upset, and the same with France and Poland - I hope Poland can pull the upset, but I expect France to win

    Groups E and F - I hope Japan can beat Croatia, and I think they can, and I hope Moracco can beat Spain, but I doubt they will

    Groups G and H - I expect Brazil to win, but I hope they lose to whoever they play, and I expect Portugal to win, but I hope they lose to whoever they play...

    How 'bout that for "predictions"...:eek::rolleyes::D

    How about this. Even this photo is skewed. To be correct the crossbar should be over the bye line to give the correct perspective. It’s in.

    Too bad Portugal and Brazil have already advanced.

    Makes today's games a hair less exciting.

    Uruguay up 2 on Ghana. Ghana missed a PK that would've been better attempted by my 3 year old. Darwin had one cleared off the line.

    Wow, Darwin clearly taken down in the box. No ball won whatsoever. Ref goes to VAR and still says no.

    South Korea scores in stoppage time. Uruguay need another goal to go through, as of right now.
