For Arsenal specifically, a huge chunk of the fan base thinks that Gabriel Martinelli sucks. Here is the complete list of players ahead of him in non-penalty goals in the Champions League this season: 1) Kylian Mbappe 2) no one else, that’s it “Almost impossible” is somehow selling it short.
Yeah, and I do not miss the days of seeing Pulisic play in a Prem match, thinking he did quite well, and then hopping over to fan forums/social media to see a deluge of "Pulisic is trash, Bin him, Get out of Chelsea you Yank," etc. But on a positive, I did learn to quit checking twitter/X for validation of his performances or anyone elses.
He returned to training today, hopefully 100 percent fit and not just sorta of straining through it. I doubt he starts Friday, but hopefully gets some decent minutes off the bench
https://sempremilan.com/pulisic-love-milan-world-cup-life-italy Christian Pulisic has provided an update on his injury, as well as lifting the lid on various aspects of his time at AC Milan so far. The Rossoneri remain in a top four battle and also just about in the title race. Pulisic ... should be back on Friday ... but won't start. How are you feeling? “It’s going well, I feel much better. I’m close to being where I want to be [physically]. I’m positive.”
USMNT and AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic is ‘increasingly open to a return to England’ and ‘Premier League interest in the American star is not only real but growing by the week.’Tottenham have registered concrete interest in bringing the USMNT captain back to London. Tottenham is a club in crisis from the admin down to the pitch, and it will take a whole lot to reverse that narrative. My advice, stay far away Chris. But then again, I am not the one being offered bags of cash.
There's no way he's going to Tottenham, no matter how much cash they offer him. If he's returning to the EPL, it's got to be a top 6 team; preferably one with CL spot locked for next season.
So he can go play for Poch full time.... Hints are that Spurs want to make a deal with US soccer to double dip.
Spurs just agreed to hire Wes' former coach Tudor on an interim basis until June (and it appears until then ONLY, unless Tudor hits a homerun). So yeah, the writing appears to be on the wall, I think no one will be shocked when Poch leaves his USMNT job after the WC and goes back to Tottenham. And I have little doubt he may try to recruit the likes of Pulisic. Still, Christian, I highly recommend you steer clear of that club
I highly doubt Pooch would have the same success a second time with Tottenham (even though he didn't win anything, ha!). Is he really gonna unearth another Dele Alli, Heung Min Song, or get to coach quite possibly the best ever English striker? He had lightning in a bottle. Pulisic should steer very clear of that whole situation.
Which current top 6 Premier League club would Pulisic, given his injury history (and history in the EPL), consistently start at? He might be better on a good or best day than some of the alternatives next season at United and Liverpool and perhaps Aston Villa. No way he can consistently play minutes at City, Arsenal, or Chelsea who are very deep in the wide positions.
I was coming here to post this rumor (that I thought I made up) as a sick joke... ewwwwww. Not today satan! (Nothing again Spurs in general, just against moving to an EPL club that can't win and might not be in the EPL...)
He would not consistently start for any of the top 6 sides, though if we are going off the current standings, Villa and United would be his best chance to become that. I contend that he could be useful sub off the bench for a top side and sporadic starter for some of those clubs
https://worldsoccertalk.com/news/ch...star-will-feature-in-serie-a-fixture-vs-pisa/ sorry for the WST link, but its the quickest I could find... Pulisic will be available for today's match vs Pisa after successfully training with the team yesterday, but is only good for ~15-20 minutes
Game ended 1-2 despite Rabiot getting sent off ~89'. Pulisic wound up playing 15' + stoppage, and looked pretty great... lively on the ball, made dangerous runs, and put in wonderful effort on defense to help see out the match.
I didn't get why Rabiot kept arguing and getting a yellow and a red. The Italian announcers said when he got the yellow card, because of his card accumulations, he will have missed the next game so that is probably why he went for the red as well.
Perhaps Rabiot wasn’t arguing but simply demanding a rules clarification. If the rules allow customers a free sixth yellow (red) at no extra charge, a modification might be in order. Maybe Rabiot just has a short fuse, but it seems more likely he knew what he was doing.
