How can he star there? How can anyone star there? In the world of "top" clubs they're one of the most dysfunctional and their status as a top club fades every year.

    Please no

Believe it or not - they are tied with Chelsea on points and a point out of the top 4. Pretty surprising.

Could he potentially earn more than Leao, with his renewal (if and when that happens)?

This swap would be a HUGE win for you, wouldn't it? LOL

    Vlahovic:
    25/26 - 3G, 1A
    24/25 - 10G, 4A
    23/24 - 16G, 3A

    Pulisic:
    25/26 - 7G, 2A
    24/25 - 11G, 11A
    23/24 - 12G, 9A

Pulisic dominated Vlahoic in leaugue G/A the past 3 seasons, as a WINGER!!

They still live in past glories!!

Are they still consider a top club, performance wise? I doubt it.

I can only imagine the lambasting Ferguson would give them if they were 6th at Christmas. Times have changed

The 16g 3a was with Allegri and it was very widely reported that Allegri wanted Vlahovic all summer because Juve was trying to offload him.

With Vlahovic, you should also look at what he did before he arrived at Juventus. Specifically, with Fiorentina at 20 (21g/3a) and 21 (29g/3a). Why Juventus and Arsenal were battling to sign him January '22 and we ultimately paid 83m for him.

Doesn't matter, the transfers aren't happening.

From their play so far this year its highly likely they’ll only miss out this year (
He already has that opportunity at Milan.

I agree with you, his form/performance at Fiorentina more than justified his price tag and demand.

However, at this moment, trading CP for Vlahovic is nothing short of moronic - from Milan's perspectives.

Best case scenario is Milan buy Vlahovic at a discount, and have the front 3 of Leao-Vlahovic-CP. Now that's a trophy winning front 3.

For sure, but Vlahovic is out until around March.

I'll just hope for Tare and company to tell Max to make do with Santi and ultimately go trophyless. :D Actually, I take that back, win the supercoppa again :coffee:

Pulisic is already on his way to being a legend with Milan

Now, if he can lead Milan to a Scudetto and help them win a few more titles; Milan might build a statue for him.

That seems extremely unlikely. Read this interesting article to learn why.

Hint: There are exceedingly few statues built at ANY club. And by "exceedingly few" I mean "an average of nearly zero".

Not Milan legends would include a host of greats.

Not taking anything away from Christian Pulisic and his accomplishments, but before he becomes a legend, he should at least accomplish a 1/4th of what the following AC Milan players have…..

Cesare Maldini, Gianni Rivera, Franco Baresi, Paolo Maldini, Mauro Tassotti, Billy Costacurta, Marco Van Basten, Ruud Gullit, Frank Rijkaard. Super Pippo Inzaghi, Rino Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo, Andriy Shevchenko, Alessandro Nesta, Clarence Seedorf, Pato and Kaka....

Pulisic should also expereince an Italian Dramatic story that @Rossonero23 knows about and that I sometimes bring up in the Italian threads involving Franco Baresi and Frank Rijkaard before he can become a legend!;):);)

Its tough because Milan of that era and Serie A of those eras is a diff player in global game than today. If he helps lead this team to scudetto then not a legend but a very respected player

Agreed. Pulisic starring for Man United and being a part of their resurgence would put him on a level of notoriety above would he could get at Milan imo. I also imagine he’s keen to get the salary back to what he was making at Chelsea.

AC Milan is one of the legendary clubs in Europe. Only Real Madrid has more European Cups/Champions League titles. They have Ballon D'Or winners. Because of Italian Football not having the money and exposure they had in the past they have to operate at a different level now. It would take a lot for Christian to be considered a legend there.

Can a Christian lead the Red Devils out of hell?

(Although lately they've been more like the Red Minor Demons with Very Few Powers, or Ability to Scare Anything.)

Wow, I didn't know Pato did well enough to make this formidable list. I might need to go revisit his performances at AC Milan. That's one hell of a list.
