Pulsic does not start today, will be on bench. maybe due to travel and rest. Hopefully he gets some good minutes in second half. Gimenez traveled just as far, but I’m guessing he starts due to lack of depth at forward. He scored a beauty for El Tri, but still not sure his game will translate to this league, he relies so much on others to create for him. no Leao or Pulisic or even Nkuku starting, may be tough for Milan to threaten the Goal
Think it was a play on words from an article. Referencing ACM and their famous nickname. Crest from their alternate shirt.
Luca Modric scores for Milan at 40 years of age! What a goal! Mister Max Allegri with another red card! You would think after he was fired at Juve he will have learned!
Not hyperbole, that was essentially a flawless appearance by Pulisic in 25 minutes. Not sure he put a foot or pass wrong. and excellent passes, should have had two assists.
Yes, he looks like someone who would learn. Fantastic appearance for Puli. I just hope this doesn't subzone him.
Pulisic has looked sharp and dangerous as a sub this season…Allegri could keep him there, but nobody is playing well enough to keep him on the bench.
Milan-Bologna, le pagelle di CM: Rabiot e Modric i migliori in … Loftus-Cheek 6: Allegri would play him anywhere and against Bologna he positions him as a second striker behind Gimenez. The experiment, to be honest, is only partially successful: Ruben tends to seek space along the midfield line, leaving Santiago too isolated in attack. Worth noting are a couple of ball-carrying accelerations that lack a bit of aggression in the finishing phase. (from 64' Pulisic 6.5: (he) transforms into Alberto Tomba with a giant slalom between the opponent's defenders that nearly leads to a penalty. He does well to keep the team’s intensity high with his accelerations.) Milan-Bologna, pagelle e tabellino: Modric col pennello, Saelemaekers brillante, Ricci e Nkunku vogliosi, Orsolini e Castro contenuti, Gimenez impreciso | Goal.com Italia MILAN (3-5-1-1): Maignan 6 (55' Terracciano 6); Tomori 6,5, Gabbia 6, Pavlovic 6 (46' De Winter 6,5); Saelemaekers 7, Fofana 6 (65' Ricci 6,5), Modric 7,5, Rabiot 6,5, Estupinan 6; Loftus-Cheek 6 (65' Pulisic 6,5); Gimenez 5 (85' Nkunku 6,5). All. Allegri
"He does well to keep the team’s intensity high with his accelerations" is a better thread title for Pulisic.
So far Pulisic seems undroppable to me, him being on bench yesterday undoubtedly had to do with his extensive minutes played with the USMNT and travel. Of course, Nkuku may be the first real signing that could push Pulisic for minutes, unless those two and Leao start togther, which would be interesting to see
