Neither. It is from a Waffle House, so it is "surreal" at best.

    IRONY IS DEAD AND BURIED.....

“As Gov. Ron DeSantis prepared for an election night party in downtown Tampa last year, city officials received a surprising — and politically sensitive — request,” the Washington Post reports.
“The Republican governor’s campaign wanted weapons banned from his victory celebration at the city-run Tampa Convention Center, a city official said in emails obtained by The Washington Post. And the campaign suggested that the city take responsibility for the firearms ban, the official said — not the governor, who has been a vocal supporter of gun rights.”

    I did, indeed.
Collectively, that may have been more strange, but no single sentence was as strange.

The NHL for their all-star weekend tried a week before to have a job fair focusing on diversity and had to shut it down.

Here's what's going to happen, they're going to press their luck with this stuff and at some point they're going to mess with the mouse and making money and the mouse is going to push back and you can see them crumble.

Disney is in the business of making money and diversity makes it money so if they want to start their nonsense and it's going to cost Disney money, that is where they're going to lose. No matter how Republican Iger and his board are, they don't like these new Republican attacking what business do nonsense but put up with it cause they are in the business of making money and saving on expenses. You start messing with their money, you messing with your life.

Unfortunately, that is one they will swat down. On a related note, my sister-in-law worked for WDW until recently, working her way up the ladder into the IT sector there. The worst day/event/weekend was a Christian-themed event aimed at high schoolers. Specifically HS evangelicals. The Haunted Mansion ride was popular since it was mostly in the dark. I can't recall the specific name of the event but Disney stopped doing it because of the number of incidents was not worth the effort. Too many hormones meeting in on place I guess.

I wouldn't be surprised if an RDS-appointed board tried to add a Song of the South ride.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah-Day at Disney! Every guest gets a special clean white sheet. It's sure to be a big hit.

The Port of New Orleans has the potential to gain some Disney Cruiseline income.

As a former cast member, who worked at those nights, it was both amusing and head shaking...and hilarious. Back in my days, there were actually a couple of spots we could stand...make sure everybody was safe (keeping in mind that the ride really is heavy machinery).

What many don't know is that WDW spends a shit load to get Latin American tourists. And in Jan and Feb and early summer, they flock to Disney. So much that Disney heavily recruits international guest workers (a lot from South America), who get a special work permit ONLY for Disney (and now Universal) in Florida (the CA WP was different as I understood). This WP allowed WDW to pay international guest workers less than minimum wage.

At least that is how it was when I was there. I would suspect not much has changed.

He joined the busing migrants by flying them so they may be back on the menu.

He may also go after the Jews while being anti-boycott Israel
