Two years after, it's here again!!

Del Bosque will play the standard and well-known 11 for Real Madrid:

    Casillas
    Salgado, Hierro, Helguera, Roberto Carlos
    Flavio, Makelele
    Figo, Raul, Zidane
    Ronaldo

Luis Aragones will use the same players that beat Depor 3-1 last week-end. An offensive lineup with some young talent in it:

    Burgos
    Otero, Hibic, Garcia Calvo, Sergi
    Albertini, Emerson
    Jose Mari, Jorge, Luis Garcia
    Torres

Too bad Figo couldn't make the last penalty

By all accounts a pretty wild match-and Figo really seems to be on form the last few weeks. Besides the missed penalty, Raul had some good chances that he squandered which should have put the match out of reach.

Come on!! Real Madrid deserved to win! They showed that they can win even with 10 players against 11 players.

Yes, nothing excuses them, they had the game controlled and failed to deliver. Raul was a disappointment.

What derby is more important to Real Madrid supporters, the games against Barca or Athletico Madrid, and is it a big rivalry for Barca v Athletico Madrid?

They are both important to Madrid fans but the Barcelona vs Real Madrid game is really special. On a personal note I look forward as much to the Atletico game as the Barcelona game as often your neighbors, friends, family may include a few misguided souls who support Atletico!

Barca vs Atletico isn't anything really special but they have a pretty decent rivalry going on primarily because it is two of the bigger clubs in the country.

No, never, a matter of fact, i just named my dog FC Barcelona, it was Am. Football season, so i had to represent the Bay Area where i live, being from California, i'm still trying to get the low down on futbol de Espana, and all the rivalrys.

ps, there are not to many Spaniards out where i live so i get a lot of my info from BS.
