Our most important game of the season so far, for many reasons we have to win it...

We have to setell the score from last year, when they won the scudetto, we have to show our sporting anger and will to beat them...

We have to regain the respect of the media, and the neutral fans, to stop critisizing our game...

We have to stop the big influence of our enemy neighbours, Milan, and show who we really are by beating one of the best teams juventus...

Last but not least, juventus are in the race for the scudetto, winning will mean 6 points, and we will stay on top of the table with maximum points, it will give us a great boost for our moral and self beleif.

this match will be a big test for our capacity and character, we have to show everyone what we're made of...

    FORZA INTER!!!!

Since when is Inter vs Juventus a derby? I thought Milan vs Juventus was the "Italian derby".

You are right. For some reason, I had thought it was the Juve-Milan match that was called the Derby d'Italia, but the above link - among others I found in a quick search - proves me wrong.

TRAINING IN APPIANO – PRACTICE MATCH FOR NERAZZURRI – CRISTIANO ZANETTI TRAINS WITH TEAM-MATES
    Monday, 14 October 2002 21:05:36
APPIANO GENTILE – This afternoon’s training session at Pinetina began with an intense warm-up and concluded with a practice match contested between the Nerazzurri available to Hector Cuper.

Cristiano Zanetti returned to training with his team-mates in today’s session, taking part in the practice match.

After numerous exercises in the gym, Nerazzurro striker Christian Vieri came out onto the pitch at Pinetina to finish off his therapy with a 15-minute slow-paced run.

Materazzi and Coco continued with their recovery from injury. Materazzi did a series of repeated runs, while Coco did 15 minutes of jogging. Following some intense physiotherapy, Nicola Ventola trained in the water with some running.

Vieri and C.Z. (THE BIG COME BACK) will be mostly fit, I hope they will play.

If vieri isn't 100%, he can come in the last 30min. , and after all we can trust crespo, he's good at scoring against old cow.

I don't know about you guys but I'm optemistic

If Vieri plays, it'll piss me (and a lot of other folks, I'm sure) off after sitting out two crucial matches for Italy.

it wouldn't upset me... I care more about inter...

actually most italian players play better for their teams ($), than the NT, and they always try to stay fit for their clubs first...

    match live on public tv?

    http://calcio.datasport.it/leggi.asp?id=1366963

a city counselor of Milan will ask the police chief to order the live transmission of the match in the Milan and Turin areas,or alternatively to arrange some big screens in public places so that the fans can watch the match.
the tickets have been sold out in large advance and there might be a dangerous gathering of fans looking for scalpers outside the gates

It's because the scudetto is always so tense and tight. One player like Vieri could make the difference. I hope we'll have Coco, Matrix, and especially C. Zanetti and VIERI! I think we will etch it out 1-0. HUGE GAME!

on the free kicks, I'd say it's better not to put a wall for DP, he'll have less chance scoring...

in the last 2 games for italy, del pierro scored twice from deflected free kicks (from one of the men in the wall)...(I was actually joking)

they even asked canna, if it's better not to jump on DP's free kicks...

Toldo was the man of the match... 2 decisive saves, and a goal, what a performance
