All I know, is that Euro2000 was simply magic... Figo became a legend. He outshone the competition, against England, and his magnificant effort when Portugal played Turkey. Truly.

Have you been watching Inter this season? He looks amazing and both he and the coach say he is not in top condition yet. Watch out, I think Figo is going to have a superb year at Inter and a great World Cup. Leaving Madrid was the best thing that ever happened to him. He is fired up and really enjoys the atmosphere at Inter.

Figo is in fine form again for Inter

Well, it took a while, but the old man looks like his old self again for Inter lately, and by his old self I mean Luis figo 2000-2002. He is running at defenders again with speed and confidence; (did anyone see him nutmeg the three Fiorentina defenders on Sunday before his shot was barely saved by the keeper?) Secondly, his delivery on set pieces like corners and his crosses have been deadly accurate and he should have more assists than he has to this point.

I have seen every Italian League game this year and I have been progressively impressed. Figo looks comfortable and driven. The Inter fans are noticing as well as he has been consistently rated one of the top players in every game he has played this season for the Nerrazzuri according to the official website player ratings. I believe his leaving Real Madrid was the best thing that ever happened to him. Look out for a great season and an impressive World Cup.

Please provide any comments if you have also been keeping track of our captain and brightest star. Does he look like the player we know he can be again?

I wouldnt be surprised...Figo is still a good player. He still has the smarts and the moves to challenge defenders, but he has lost speed, that is clearly evident.

But he put the ball through 3 peoples legs....why isnt thier a video of this somewhere???

I watched the whole game and let me tell, you, Figo is in fine form. He is the go to guy, he didn't let the team down. Almost every pass was perfect, his crosses were great and he still has great pace. Even the commentators were commenting on "Vintage Figo" He was so close to scoring towards the end too, oh well, he gave the goal on a silver platter to Martins who just had to let the ball bounce off his body and it was in.

Honestly, Figo is playing great. he is one of those players that teams get their money's worth. he is never injured or misses games for stupid reason. Look at his career, always stayed for like 4/5 seasons at every team. I hope he keeps this up until the WC ;)

A good game for Figo. He showed us some great skill of dribbling and shooting

And look at how Liverpool are doing. Instead of spending 2 mil pounds for figo (and admittedly a lot of wages), they spent 8 mil pounds for a useless peter crouch...
