Larin got his DUI on June 15th. The German, Spanish, Italian and French windows had been open for 2 weeks. The English window for one and the Dutch and Turkish windows for 4 days but MLS's window doesn't open until July 10th. Can an MLS player transfer out before their window is open? Could Larin even be transferred with a pending court case?

Yes, the only window that matters in transfers is the window for the league the player is going to. The window for the league their leaving doesn't matter.

That would likely be a bigger problem.

A fitting ending to this saga...

Scores in his 1st game after only 3 minutes on the pitch for Besiktas

I said in the other thread it's good for the league if he can stay up with Besitkas first team rather than getting loaned out to a bottom table Anyspor FC Turk team. He's a little older than Jozy but it reminds me of Jozy Alitdore when he first got to Villareal in 08.

on the other hand it's better for europe if they loan out all the mls players they get and give them little playing time in order to continue the narrative of how much better europe is than MLS.....and specifically that the best mls players arent good enough to walk into european teams (when clearly some are)

I had to watch it frame by frame but he is onside. Kept the line perfectly. Sweet finish.
