Re: The Crew Museum There should be an exhibit from the first match that Toronto ever won at Crew Stadium. It would just be a roped-off section with cobwebs and a speaker that played the sound of crickets chirping.
Re: The Crew Museum it should also feature two huge vats. One filled with TFC fan's tears. The other with their lost hope.
Re: The Crew Museum A 50x scale model of the gap between Ansil Elcock's front teeth should serve as the entrance.
Re: The Crew Museum Thomas Dooley's red boots The remaining unused Buck-a-Brats Ross Paule's Career Ending headgear Brad Freidel's Hair from his Crew Days And of course the Bob Sagat banner from the NW upperdeck seats
Re: The Crew Museum The last time I saw them was at the end of the year sale 2007 up for sale. I think somebody bought them. I asked how much but where would I put it.
Re: The Crew Museum I have a Robbie Rogers clock. It runs fast for ninety minutes about once a week but that's about it.
Re: The Crew Museum Funny. I actually have an Eddie Gaven clock. It works fine, but every once in a while, it just falls down for no reason.
Honoring Former Columbus Crew Players If Columbus Crew were to honor its players, how and where do you think the club should do this? (keep in mind that retiring numbers is not typically kosher with this game that we love). What would you call it? Chicago has it's Ring of Fire, and I think DC has it's own unique name. At this time in the 16 year history of the club, what list of players would you include? Columbus Crew museum and where to put it?
Re: Honoring Former Columbus Crew Players List of players in it: 1. Lamar Hunt 2. Tom Fitzgerald 3. Mike Clark 4. Mais 5. Guille, when he officially retires. 6. Jeff Cunningham 7. Brian McBride Where to put it? Right below the Upper 90 Club. Opposite the Shop. We can call it Crew Hall of Fame.
Re: Honoring Former Columbus Crew Players I thought we just had a thread exactly like this one a few months back.
Re: Honoring Former Columbus Crew Players Relax. I DID use the search option. Guess I should work on my buzz words, huh?
Re: Honoring Former Columbus Crew Players I have mentioned the museum idea to McCullers in the recent past,
Re: Honoring Former Columbus Crew Players If my internet tone sounded a$$holish, I apologize. I did not mean any offense by it, Thoma.
Re: Honoring Former Columbus Crew Players The inaugural baker's dozen : Timo Liekoski, Doctor Khumalo, "Sneaky" Pete Marino, Paul Caligiuri, Tenywa Bonseu, Ubusuku Abukusumo, Tony Sanneh, Jamal Sutton, Mark Schulte, Danny Szetela, Sergio Herrera, Robert Warzycha (as Head Coach) and Robbie Rogers, of course. [Maybe next year, Altimont Butler (who of course left the Crew to join the Jamaican National Team "full time"), Naya Noodle (contributor), Joel Kitamirike, Marcus Storey, Eric Vasquez, "Fort" Knox Cameron, and Christof Lindenmayer (who was so awesome that the Crew selected him in two different SuperDrafts (2000 [4th round] & 2002 [5th Round]).]
