Well spend a good portion of his career here at least till his late 20s

I guess in the football world 5/6 years is a long time

I remember hearing wenger dreamed of a an Anelka and Henry partnership

Mira a shame wenger burned bridges with ex players because we should’ve signed cesc back and Anelka

you could clearly see even at Bolton he was still a great player

you could argue, Chelsea got his best years in terms of longevity

Reggie Cannon is a real leader rising quickly through the ranks the last season or two. I'd hope that he gives Dallas and it's fans a royal ******** you as he makes his way to Europe this summer.

What would you guys do if PSG came to you with a bid of $149m USD for Pogba? $110m up front with $39m in installments?

    Turn it down.

If it was £150mil, as pounds. Id be more inclined to think about it, but Id probably still turn it down. At this stage of the project he is as important as any player.

My concern is that with that kind of money, we could seriously replenish.

VdB, Bruno in the midfield, Ndidi as DM, Upamecano in CD (using that money for him instead of Sancho) and Everton as a Winger and still have a bunch left over. Even got Hakimi since Dalot was sold off.

We'd be losing a lot letting Pogba go. The main thing is his passing from deeper central midfield. Finding Bruno and other attackers in pockets to turn and do damage.

A lot of us believe we need a defensive midfielder, even though there is a debate amongst us the type of DM we need. But it doesnt seem like the club will buy one. Ndidi is definitely one of the best ball winners in the league, bht he has some weaknesses which i believe dont fit here. He's not exactly going to break lines and attackers in pockets from his deep position. When it comes to getting pressed, he isnt very strong in that aspect. He does provide energy and aggression in the middle tho.

Everton? Fantastic winger. But he plays exclusively on the left from watching him in the Copa Lib and a few times for Brazil.

No worries. Was excited to share because I love JJ and with Everton the project at Benfica really intrigues me.

Henry has it nailed on when he's saying he wants to see some action: it's high time for tangible things to happen at this point...

A lot of things work in videogames that don't work in the real world. lol Like the spending I can do in FM20 that Woody would never dream of. I'm even playing with a DoF too.

For instance, guess how much transfer budget and payroll I had to play with once we qualified for the CL from the board? $292M USD and over $500k/wk in payroll.

Imagine what real life United could do with that kind of bankrolling of Ole.

My brother and I are working on putting together a trip to the UK next year to see a United game at Old Trafford. Thinking of Flying in on Friday and leaving on Monday.

Do you folks know of anywhere we can get information on good hotels and the like in the area? Don't want to drive, so we'd certainly be utilizing public transportation.

This would be sometime next year, in August/September/October. Any time you folks would suggest for better weather chances?

    Thanks!

You definitely wouldn't need to drive (and if you're not leaving the city you wouldn't want to with parking costs), we're a small city physically and everything you'd need would be connected by tram/Train. Trams and trains both connect the airport (if you fly to Manchester rather than to London) to the city centre.

Tram stop within walking distance (with pubs along the way) from Old Trafford (Trafford Bar is the one you want, not Old Trafford, that stop is for the cricket stadium).

Depending on budget you could stay in Salford Quays, walking distance from Old Trafford with some bars but not a lot else.
When my family visit they normally stay at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, it's centrally located with lots around and accessible by train or tram.

Also September would be the best time in my opinion if you're looking for Premier League, it's before it gets too cold 17*C today with clear skies. October and November you're average drops about 3-4* each month.

Can't talk about Hotels a lot living here, but can give advice on getting around and the like
