https://www.skysports.com/football/...ave-qualifications-but-need-opportunities-too if you were an avid watcher of the prem in the 90s you'll remember him from Coventry City. #4 i believe
We definitely need to rotate/rest. I'd be surprised if we don't have mix and matched lineups for the next 2 fixtures, possibly 3. I expect we'll be full strength for Leicester.
Was always clear that Ramos was pretty strong. But was never aware he was this jacked: seriously impressive.
For the VAR conspiracy theorists. Most VAR decisions in favour: Man United 10Most net: Man United 8Most disallowed for opposition: Man United 7Most subjective in favour: Crystal Palace, Man United 6Highest net goals: Man United +7Highest net subjective score: Man United +5— Dale Johnson (@DaleJohnsonESPN) July 16, 2020 https://www.espn.co.uk/football/eng...sions-have-affected-every-premier-league-club legit? or the ABU type stuff because we started to get good results again?
Horse shit. Offisde is offside. As several unbiased folks have said, this is the part of VAR that they actually get right all the time. We don't like it because the margins are fine and we can't tell the difference with the naked eye, but it is what it is. We also win our fair share of penalties because we play quick football and we have Rashford and Martial in the opposition box. Mane and Salah are good, but it feels like half of their chances come when they are beyond the last defender. We rank among the bottom 3 teams in the league at passing beyond the last defender (Pogba has half of our passes beyond the last man this season). If most of our chances fall to 2 of our proflic strikers who are good dribblers and faster than most defenders well yeah... of course we will get some penalties.
The more famous teams and franchises in us sport, always have a bias toward them If you generate money for the league then you get soft calls Utd always had them, the Fernandez pen vs villa was the biggest joke of all then Liverpool vs arsenal, trent catches saka full on the shin but it doesn’t go to var yet nketiah gets a red vs meow eater after they check for 4 minutes it’s mainly English referee incompetence and bias
I think we already admitted it was a soft penalty against Villa. But other way reaction dont go our way Romeu should have been sent off for his challenge against Greenwood and we would be third.
Don't see what they would have to moan about, if we're being perfectly honest: a Pool player wouldn't have won anyway. Lewandowski is the one who should feel cheated: he probably would have been the overwhelming favorite this season. The way he's played and the numbers he put up (at 31 especially), were simply incredible.

i'm going to miss this festival of football or whatever they call it. won't miss the circumstances that forced it but the everyday football fix is quite nice. probably made nicer by the preceding absence of it
I've decided to try and do a ManU career on FM2020 using what you folks have said in the transfer thread for upgrades/sales. Pretty much keep the team they currently have and sim until the end of May in 2020 and see what I can get money wise. Then I can sell off Mata, Pereria, Lingard, Matic, Jones, Smalling, Sanchez, etc. Unless I get sacked. lol The midfield is where I'm a little torn. In the game it'll be Pogs/Bruno with Matic in the DM slot during the sim (playing a DM with two CMs/ L/R AM). I guess it all depends on if Pogs wants to leave after this year (VdB appears to have greater upside, but Partey is more physical and ready now). Try and grab Sancho first thing (depending on how much money is around) then the CM/DM and maybe a CB. I'd love to have your folks input on this. EDIT: Thanks to the mod for moving this to the right place - I wasn't sure where to put it.
The Prem's 2020-21 season will kick off Sept 12th and end May 23rd 2021. Not confirmed yet, but the league is considering giving teams in Europe this August an extra week before they get started (depending on how far they go).
Sancho cost too much on it and best position is LW. Would be better getting Jimenez for the initial 50 m given or Bentancur.
Well, I managed to get Sancho, Partey, a LB name Wober, Ruben Dias (CB) and had enough left over to pick up... Haaland. lol Sancho cost aroud $100m USD, Haaland was another $83m (release clause). Dias I don't recall off-hand. Sold both Shaw and Dalot for almost $70m combined. Smalling left for another $35m I think. So I started with $168m and sold about $166m in value - so it was a pretty fruitful offseason.
