i think argentina will most likely take it this year.

uruguay or brazil are most likely to be their opponent in the final.

btw; costa rica could also be a good surprise team. good luck ticos.

Was Honduras even considered?? Having Ricardo LaVolpe as manager might have given Costa Rica leverage over Honduras and also Honduras was been playing uninspiring football lately.

Good luck to both CONCACAF nations participating in this tourney. Mexico has many good players and I don't think them taking a U23 squad will prevent them from having a good showing like they usually do in the Copa América.

Yea we were considered, but Suarez made it clear that he wasn't gonna coach Copa America. which basically was our way of saying "No Gracias"

you know what....copa america, should change their protocol.

besides... USA, AND MEJICO, central america has got good talent.

El Salvador, costa rica, and honduras....have world cup expirience. my point is: copa america, should extand or expand to central america.

South Americans have enough problems with Mexico competing.

Yeah. I understand them to a point, it would be like Boca and River competing as "guests" in the FMF year after year and reaching the finals, tri fans wouldn't be thrilled about it either. But four CONCACAF teams have competed in it and all of them advanced from the first round, three reaching the semi's or finals.

The way honduras was humiliated in asia...no way were they gona be invited...plus their WC showing was quite bad...

Costa Rica on the other hand has had good showings as of late and have always played quite well...

Mexico and CR should do fine...

But those don't sell well in the USA, the Mexican-American Dollar is what they want.

    The Mexican peso helps also.

Now that the mickey mouse crap is over,(Mexico won the cookie cup with a C team, without 7 players, with only 17 players for most of the tourney, and with the 4th string Goal keeper Talavera!) we can get to a real tourney!
