I'm very glad to see Simon Davies on the way back. He's essential in my opinion to give us an attacking balance, bring him in there on the right to link up with Carr and then we can have Dalmat with Konchesky on the left. While Ricketts should go in the middle with King.

Bobby Zamora is a very nice lad, saw him going into the game yesterday and was signing a bundle of autographs and looked in good spirits.

Yes it is, Davies is much needed and sorely missed.

Zamora is a player for the future, and will be useful later in the season.

Any more word on Ziege? he must be ready to pack it in :(

I saw him as well yesterday and he did look in a pretty mood. I think he's still very much looking to comeback, he's just had a muscle tweak which held him back. I'm still hopeful and I certainly don't think he's given up.

Bobby could well be used on the left as an attacking wide player, like how Solskajaer has been used on the right for ManYoo in the past couple of seasons. Te's played there before for Brighton and England U-21 and I would rate him as a better option there at home games than the 2 fullback combination.

Bobby Zamora and Christian Ziege played 60 minutes of a training ground friendly against QPR this morning at Spurs Lodge. Simon Davies played the whole game as all three come back from injury, with Zamora being the most likely to feature in the first team in the near future.
