Now I get it. It was just an expression of 'haven't seen you in a long time'. I guess it's my own peculiar language. Nevermind.

Saw the highlights. It looked like we only created 3-4 clear chance in the entire game. That's more reason to worry than the 2-2 scoreline.

    Verheyen Balaban

    Klukowski Englebert Leko De Kock

    Vermant

    Maertens Clement Spilar

    Butina

Wheres Valgaeren, Also is Klukowski in the midfield?

Club Brugge draws Vålerenga/Haka for the third round qualifing stage. I think its a good draw. I dont know much about either team. Tell me about them and what are the expectations in Belgium.

Haka I don't know really, but I guess Valerengen will proceed. Valerengen is the team from former Lierse player Kjetil Rekdal. If you know what the guy is like, you can figure this won't be an easy team to play. He's a perfectionist and a man with loads of flair, who should easily be able to motivate his players. Some of the players include Flo (don't know which one) and Brocken, a right back Belgian who has played for Lierse, Anderlecht and Standard. I think this one's a really good player, which makes me fear the rest of the team. Add to this the fact that they also play in the Royal League (used to more top matches) and you can figure it will be tough for Brugge.

They should proceed however, given the vast amount of talent the team has.

Supercup is tied 1-1 right now, Bosko scored. Vanaudenaerde started instead of De Kock.

I was wondering, how much time is Blondel expected to get this season?

Dunno really. I hope he gets more time than last season but it doesn't look too good.

Yeah, 2-0. Could have and should have been more. Midfield was doing fine, defense looked solid for most part of the game (with the exception of once or twice where they lost concentration) and the guys up front created a lot. Only thing that needs some work is the finishing. And the fact that the second half was, once again, two steps down from the level of play in the first half.

    Re: The Club Brugge thread

Valerenga is a very defencive solid team in the EC and good at keeping a 0-0 or perhaps a 1-1 result, so no, this is not really a good result for Brugge... a 1-1 or 1-2 loss would have been much better...

So no, it's not going to be easy. When Valerenga last played in the EC in 2003/04 , they managed to reach the 3rd round of the UEFA cup by not winning a single match, but drawing 3 times 0-0 and two times 1-1...
