I don't know, somebody has got to loose. Dead man walking gives everyone else a win once in awhile. I wonder how cost effective it is.

 

I thought that's what we kept the Rapids around for.

I like LAFC best but SoCal united is great too

 

BS will probably have a fit if it does, but I'm betting it ends up LAFC. It's already in place, and most people who are interested in the team seem happy with it. Add to that the fact that there isn't much of a consensus on alternatives, so... my money is on LAFC.

 

I believe the name is set. It already has a website: http://www.lafc.com/

 

The All-American Football Conference (the league which produced the 49ers and Browns) had a Los Angeles franchise which used that name. The league existed from 1946 to 1949.

If they were smart they'd take the name Maccabi LA and immediately move to the top of MLS with 5 US Open Cups.
