Per thread parlance, that's also a "blown tire" in DC last night as well, correct? Two-goal lead in the 2nd half that doesn't result in a win? *heavy sigh*

I'm curious: how often have MLS teams combed someone and been combed in consecutive games, in either order?

And another thing I'm curious about: how many times has it happened with an unchanged lineup?

Orlando just combed Toronto on July 4 and got combed by RSL on July 8, with the same lineup in both games.

Does the All Star Game get to be part of the official record?

DC United combed the Fire last night. The biggest surprise is that going into that game I figured it could go either way.

Somebody has totaled up all the score lines in English league football history. With some back of the napkin math there appears to have been just under 14,000 combs in over 135 years of league football, or around an average of a bit over 100 a year. That's probably about one comb per team per year (roughly).
