Three last night, Chi 4 - Hou 0, Colorado 5 - SJ 0, LAFC 6 - Van 0 Anyone know if this is the most single day combs?
https://www.fifa.com/news/the-week-in-numbers-x3272 says: "84 San Jose Earthquakes' 4-0 win over the Los Angeles Galaxy in the 84th 'Cali Clasico' was their largest margin of victory in the derby's history." San Jose played consecutive games with at least a 6 goal swing from the previous game as they won 3-0, lost 3-0, and won 4-0. In a span of six games starting with the 5-0 loss that DCW531 stated, San Jose played four games that were clean sheets with the winner scoring at least 3, and San Jose won two and lost two. Furthermore, in between when this topic had posts on July 19 and September 24, San Jose lost 6-1 hosting Portland in the game before losing 5-0. September 19 through October 14 is under a month, and in that time San Jose lost by 5 twice and won by 4.
While not MLS I'm guessing the posters here would like this tweet: Number of league wins by a 4+ goal margin over the last 50 seasons🙌 pic.twitter.com/sq7cNur3Cs— 4,000 Holes (@roversfanzine) October 25, 2020
D.C 7-1 Toronto While the score was 3-1, Toronto got a red. Toronto relieved coach Chris Armas of his duties.

The first blowout combs of 2022 Seattle and NYCFC also earned combs in the CONCACAF Champions League last week.
With only one new team, we've already matched the number of combs of '21. That said, looks like they're rare enough we could go the rest of the season without any more, like we did last year.
Missed a few: 3/6/2022: ATX 5:1 MIA 4/17/2022: NYC 6:0 RSL 5/14/2022: POR 7:2 SKC 6/14/2022: SEA 4:0 VAN 7/4/2022: LAG 4:0 MON 7/8/2022: PHI 7:0 DCU 7/23/2022: TOR 4:0 CLT
Thanks. I was starting to wonder. I guess there's actually not that much interest in this thread. Makes me suspect that there are a number missing from last year too.
Philadelphia 6-0 Colorado The second and third goals were penalties. Colorado got a player ejected for a second yellow in the 35th, and allowed 3 goals before and after, meaning they allowed fewer goals per minute while down a man.
DC x2 and a Colorado team that barely put out a MLS-level lineup. But still, 6+ goals in 4 out of 10 games is not something to be ignored, regardless of opponent.
HOU was the 4th. Still, they aren't the only team that gets to play the bottom feeders, and no one else has come close to going +25 against four teams. LAFC has one comb (5-0 over CLT), and 2 other games they were plus 3 (3-0 COL, 4-1 RSL), making their best 4 games +13. They only got 1 goal vs DCU. They still get HOU (twice).
All levels of Union are out for blood these days... FINAL! 🇺🇸🇩🇪Union U15: 6Bayern Munich U15: 0Absolutely dominant from start to finish. @PhilaUnion @yscacademy #BabySnakes #DOOP— Philadelphia Union Academy (@phlunionacademy) August 30, 2022
You see what happens when you talk about it before the game? Thanks for doing it, though. About the only lucky thing to happen to us this year.
Union had their 5th comb of the year with their 5-1 win against Orlando. While Cincy blew the doors off the Quakes 6-0. Also not to be out done by the first team the Union II beat Orlando B 6-1.
