No. It just means that Owen will have some competition for the diving title when he's back. :)

How can you even mention Owen when people like van Nistelrooy and Bellamy road free. At least the game has cleaned up a bit with Bellamy's injury.

(dis)honourable mention to Christiano Ronaldo as well... all the skill, and still finds time to throw himself to the ground repeatedly.

2'nd (dis)honourable mention to Thomaz Radzinski as well. You just know he's going to go down when he gets near the goal.

I recall Pires deliberatly kicking a defenders leg before hurling himself through the air earlier this season(v portsmouth possibly) to win a pen.
Van Nistelrooy is also a serial diver

landon donovan is worst diver in EPL.

the fact that he does not play in the EPL is a minor technicality... he is such a terrible diver he still wins.

Carlos Ruiz won't have a chance at being the best diver in the EPL. Especially if he plays at Wolves.

First time he dives and the other 19 field players and referee are at the other end of the field while he waits for the whistle - he will get the message.

    1. Robert "Full Louganis" Pires
    2. Ruud Van Nistelrooy
    3. Francis Jeffers (doesn't play enough to get top billing. But when he's on the field, my how he tries).

No way. Absolutely no way at all. Landon doesn't dive.

Embellish? Like Meryl Streep playing a European. But he doesn't dive.

While Ruiz dives alot, what will drive people there crazy is the way he acts like he's on death's door whenever he hits the deck.

Why hasn't Dugarry been mentioned? Perhaps because he's been injured lately?

C Ronaldo doesn't dive he is getting the hell kicked out of him week in week out atleast about ten per game none resulting in a sending off might i add.

he has made a mockery out of most defenders he has played against and they have all resulted to hacking him down. shows a lack off class about our game and is very embarassing.

    Salgado biggest diver

EPL diving title has to go to pires

The best (or is it worst?) diver award goes to Ruud van nistelrooy and Robert Pires.

Goalkeepers can fake a dive too

When a corner kick is made, some keeper’s tries to punch the ball out of the box and sometimes fail to do so. Some of them just fake a dive and pretend someone push them to the ground.

RvN and Ronaldo are tops. Other people get called on it, but they can get away with it because of who they play for.

C Ronaldo all the way, he is so used to being on the floor he gets a nose bleed standing up.

Internationally, it as to be the entire Turkish national team. Them cheating bastards suck big time.

He's so skilled at it that many don't even think a lot of them are dives..
The PK against Argentina at the WC in '98 was one of his best dives.
    He's a diving maniac!! :D

I'm just trying to annoy Liverpool fans, if there are any here.
But you must admit, that was a dive in France '98. :) And a good one..
Anyway.. The loan for Carlos is looking slightly more unlikely as Wolves just signed a Romanian striker 'til the end of the season with an extension possiblity.

Pires is #1, at least until Ruiz shows up.

Ronaldo gets chopped a lot more often than he dives. And no, I'm not a Man U fan, but thems are the facts.

So, you're admitting to basically being a troll??

Next time post something that has a small amount of truth (or at least give an example that is less than five years old) and we'll go from there.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: The Biggest Diver in the Premiership

I did post something with a small amount of truth.. IE: His goal at the WC and you can find recent accusations of him diving all the time at the BBC's 606 site on his rival's boards :).. And it's called being a "flame" in this case and not a troll..!
But it's not "vicious" or a personal attack on anyone (Owen won't mind) in anyway or intended that way so it's just fine.
Look at the evil things people are saying about Ruiz..:D

    Re: Divers

Wrong, the fact is he spends the whole game trying to get freekicks and players booked by being a diver. Now im not saying that opposing players dont hack him sometimes, but they do it to him to teach him not to be a complete cretin by diving all the time.

See, you gotta ask why would opposing players want to hack him. You dont see professionals like Shearer or Sheringham getting hacked every game, thats because they let there skill do the talking, but C Ronaldo, although very talented, still feels the need to cheat 6-7 times a game by dropping to the floor like sack of 5hit.
