I'm going to set this up and announce the order in which we'll pick later. Maybe we get more participants this way...

Now, don't come complaining about salaries not being accurate...It's a fantasy league and these are either approximates (and some are within a $1,000,000 in accuracy) and others have been adjusted to work with our league's $70,000,000 cap. In cases of Pjanic and Bale this is even more true as they both make less than $3,000,000 yet i put their value much higher for this league. The lower players make around $5,000,000 and highest are around $15,000,000. After i announce picking order, the first person can go and choose their #1 pick. We'll organize with forwards first...

We have around 10 people now so 2 more and we're set to go. I'll randomly pick out people's names and that'll be the order in which we make our picks.

 

BTW, after we're done this, we'll leave spots open for 4 more people (to make it 16)..you know in case someone comes in late and wants to join. Those guys can make their team from whatever players are left. Hopefully no one has a problem with that.

I sent you a message. I reduced 16 to 12 in my other post (post #19)...and no you can't pick same players so everyone's team will be very different..That's another point of this draft really so when a person chooses Ronaldo or whoever, he is no longer available for picking.

 

You didn't even read the post #19 in the other thread, did you?

Each team will have a total team of: 1 goalie, 3 defenders, 4 midfielders, 3 strikers, 1 extra at any position
During game days you will give me a lineup of: 1 goalie, 2 defenders, 3 mids, 2 strikers..the others are extras and to see if you can figure out who will get hot/cold.

 

The teams are already predetermined (the ones we'll be picking will be involving players that are already chosen by everyone on here). The player fantasy portion and score prediction portion are separate really so one has not much to do with the other. When you choose your 12 players, they will be ones playing all over(many different teams in the top 4 leagues)..It's more about you choosing players that either you believe will do well this season, some people will pick their favourite players and some will just go with the best players available. So your point totals will be in 2 parts...

Predicting Scores + Your team's player points = Total Points

I can't explain it any better really. In case you changed your mind you can always give your spot to somebody else. There's quite a few people who will come later on anyways.

 

Correct. So both Arsenal and Chelsea are in play. You predicted 2-0 for Arsenal. Let's say it ends up being 1-2 instead but let's say you have Torres and Ivanovic on your team and they scored.

For the score prediction you don't get anything because it's a loss and you picked Arsenal win..so you get a 0 there.
The following points would be rewarded for player portion.

defender scored = 3 pts
striker scored = 1 pt

So you end up with 4 pts in total here.
