I know the season hasn't started yet however let's take a moment too look into the future. After the Grahame Souness era is over, who would you like to see leading NUFC to silverware and glory? I personaly think appointing Alan Shearer would be disasterous. He needs experience and that should not start at the ninth biggest club in the world. I know fat basterd wants a Geordie and maybe Toon Toon can give me the full list of canidates, but I think a coach form the continent would best suit the club. 1.Otmar Hitzfeld 2.Guss Hiddink 3.Big Phil Scolari 4.Martin O'Neil Have at it.

So I wanted to pose the question again, who should take over if the Gaffer is dismissed? I would like to see Ottmar Hitzfeld or Gus Hiddenk. If the coach must be British then Martin O' Neil. Who do you think Shepard has in mind? I think Shepard will have a caretaker hold a place until Shearer is ready.
