That message was just a joke.

Magihere- it's great to hear about Galvan Rey as a person. He sounds like a really good guy.

But what is his style of play? How does he score most of his goals? Is he good at creating his own shots? Is he good at passing? Does he rely on his speed? Anything else you can tell us would be great.

    Thanks!

Sergio holds the record of scoring 10 goals in two games, 5 goals in each game, 5 against América de Cali and Atlético Bucaramanga....hes small, quick and agile, I enjoyed watching him in Copa Libertadores, and this year, he scored the winning goal in Venezuela, and the two against Velez from Argentina....can't wait to see him in Metros.

Well You guys need goal scoring so between Glen and Rey you may just have found it. I like Magee, but he is at best a late sub at this point in his career, Woly is well I won't comment further. Looking forward to a Glen & G-Ray vs. Ralph & Razov match-up.

Hey Magihere, thanks for posting and welcome to bigsoccer. I have one question for you... I read somewhere that Galvan Rey had been out of the first team at Once Caldas lately. Is this true and why is the reason for this?

The real reason because Sergio Galván was out of the first team is just by the tactics of the coach Fernando Montoya. And the level that He was showing wasn´t the best. but you know how the goal scorers are, Now he is taking a very good level, and when he start playing in MLS He will be in the best condition

The style of playing of Sergio is so good, he can make his own shots, and he can play in the middle too, making plays and assisting the partners. The most of the goals scored by him are defining with great accuracy, and shooting from far too. He can shot in the free kicks. He is fast and he often hit the ball with the head, no much because he is a little short.
Yesterday I saw an interview with him by TV. And he said he is so glad to go there and he wants to play and give the best of himself.
Thank you and excuse me again by my bad English.

Excellent. Thanks very much for the information, sounds like just the player the Metros need. Woly and Magee have great work rates and can be creative, but you can't say either of them has a lethal shot. Nice to have some firepower.

Downside of our deepness in forwards is that likely Mike Nugent will be shut out. Thought he showed nicely in his limited appearances last season.
